Posted: 1/20/2008 3:51:29 PM | I would love to see Dale, Jr win the Championship this year just to show Teresa Earnhardt up. I love to watch those Hendrick cars run and I'm dying to see how Dale does in one this year.
It's sad in some ways to see Dale, Jr leave DEI with it being a family business, etc but if he does better and wins more races then that'll say something about the cars DEI are producing...JUNK.
But in reality one team buys motors, transmission, etc from other teams, Roush builds certain parts for ALL ARCA cars and it's the same way in CUP & Nationwide (BUSCH). | |

Posted: 2/13/2008 2:47:02 PM | I think the issue last year was DEI's engine program that they partnered up with Childress to do. Jr. was running up front for a lot of races, but the 7 DNFs he had due to engine failure were the most they had compared what they had the previous six seasons I think.
Had the engines been up to snuff, I think he would have had at least a couple of wins, but there's a reason why he went Hendrick. | |
