nice_guy, I'm with ya.... but that's the beauty of NASCAR, rubbing paint. The problem this
year is that they can't pass with these dam restrictor plates and COT tails.... so they're doing
a little more bangin' and jammin'..... and Shrub is not afraid to do this.... what, you think he's
gonna piss anyone off? The kid has no friends......
His attitude got worse at the end of last year when they just dropped his ass like a hot potato.
He learned that he's on his own and started driving like that. Remember the end of last year?
Remember Hendricks getting on the horn and telling him in no uncertain terms to NOT crash
his teammate???
Yah, it's that attitude that wins races, but it's also one that gets ya kicked in the ass too.

I may be in the minority but I think if you need to crash people to get to the front or win races than you don't deserve to win the race. Driving into people to pass them isn't a talent, the talent is passing without driving into them. Kyle definitely has the talent but I think he's taken the whole "villain" role to heart and uses it to drive like an ass with total disregard to the rest of the field.
And yes, this attitude does win races, but look at the guy who's won 3 of the last 4 cup races ( if you count the All star race). I could be wrong but I don't recall the new "Bud Man" purposely running into a single car to win any of the races.
You're not gonna find 2 total opposites as far as drivers between Busch and Kasey Kahne. Kasey has a smooth style and shows respect to his fellow drivers and when he has a good car will win races without driving over people. Kyle has a rough style, shows no respect for his fellow drivers and when he has a good car will still drive over people to win races.
Not to mention, Kasey is by all accounts a good guy while Kyle is a little punk ass. lol
And like you Bullie, I'll be watching for him to get his ass kicked too. To bad ole Jimmy Spencer doesn't still race, He took out one Busch, I'm sure he'd have no problem with this one too.  | |

It's about how good the driver is thats driving the car, the one who can avoid the wrecks, should they happen, the one who can race his way past 20 cars with 3 laps to go and come in the lead, the one who can, and it makes for a bit of a boring race, but hold a 10 second lead over every other guy on the track. Thats what being a good driver and winning races is about. Taking out another car only shows that you should be in a demo derby not on a race track doing and excess of 200 miles an hour where someone could get seriously hurt | |

Also, it is against Nascar rules for one car to push another car on the final lap. Even though I'm sure Trucker would say that since it's Jr. that Nascar would have let him get away with it. lol

Yet it looked like he was pushing him, didn't it? They can't bump and ride anymore, as the cars won't allow them to shove anyone up the track anymore.... so it's like Emmy said... it's about the best driver, making it to the end, pitting wisely, avoiding crashes and working with his teammates to get the win.
Shrub isn't doing any of that... he's just winning on pure, young, dumb ass adrenaline.
Yah, my take and I'm stickin' with it.

Killed me to watch some try to maneuver the cars around the track... and each other!
Harvick's spin after he lost control could have been much worse.
Biffle was doing well 'til his luck ran out. AGAIN!  I'm not sure if it's his car or his owner or what.... but the Cinderfella story ain't comin' true just yet.....
*Note: I'm still reeling from seeing the fatal crash of Scott Kalitta in PA this weekend at the drag strip....

I saw this crash Saturday when I got up and have seen it alot sencs and his chut didn't even come out. And he hit that wall hard. I pray and hope he was out before he hit the wall. I really hate seeing racecar driver die it hurts.

Since we are off topic. The NHRA has a long way to go as far as safety. I'm not an engineer but how about drag strips with some kind of wall between the cars, and sand traps at the end of drag strips. Seems logical to me.

I had Denny winning at Loudon as it's one of his tracks....
At least Kurt had the balls and brains to say he didn't deserve to win.
MW actually made some dumb ass comment about strategy being the cause for him coming in second. Would someone please check his medication?!? I think he's mixing pills again....
It was Smokes race and he lost it because of a call that, in my opinion, came WAY too early.
