| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 10/21/2008 4:34:08 PM | | Harvicks smart and**** mouth does not want any part of Edwards; Edwards would knock his skinny running lights out. | |
|
| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 10/25/2008 5:19:25 PM | Rain out in Atlanta for qualifying.Guess who gets the pole
No matter,Biff and Edwards needs to give JJ a run for his money til the bitter end

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 10/26/2008 5:33:12 PM | | Can you believe JJ? Carl had no idea until the post race interview. I swear... they could send him out there in a golf cart and he'd still kick everybody's asses. Unbelievable! I guess there's a reason he repeated last year and has all but got his name etched in the books for the threepeat. After today, I don't think there's much doubt left in anybody's mind. | |

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 10/29/2008 6:20:55 AM | I wouldn't say they are new-found fans of JJ,just so darn happy it isn't shrub at the top of the Chase | |
|
| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 10/29/2008 6:33:43 AM | I don't think it's really jumping on a bandwagon to see that this guy seems to put it all together at the time of year that it matters most. What'd he do last year -- win the last 4 or 5 races of the year in a row ?? He probably won't do that this year, but it's not lookin' like he'll have to.
cdn guy | |

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 10/29/2008 2:25:58 PM | It was weird.. the computer just seemed to drift away from me bullitt.
Anyways you seem to be the only one who understood what I meant by Bandwagon fans. Anyhow. The "Chase" in nascar is really starting show its poor colors. So sad.

I wouldn't say they are new-found fans of JJ,just so darn happy it isn't shrub at the top of the Chase Yeah... I didn't realize how much power my words would have. At the start of the Chase I had said I'd rather see JJ win than Kyle, but I still wanted the Sprint Cup to be positioned on the hood of the #99 Office Depot Ford Fusion at the end of it all. With a couple of bad races in Nationwide also, it looks like he's going to end up the bridesmaid in both series. Being the first loser sucks enough as it is without earning that dubious distinction twice in the same season.
|
| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 10/29/2008 5:19:37 PM | Exactly what would Edwards have to do at this point to win.Or, would it be more to the point to ask what JJ can't do?
I mean,is it still mathematically for Flipper or Biff or Biff to win? I'm assuming it is,but only if JJ doesn't keep winning or place higher than the two.
I would love to know the stats right now in regard to who still has a chance before it ends
|
| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 10/29/2008 6:33:02 PM | In order for Edwards or Biffle to pull it off, all they would have to do is win every race (as well as lead the most laps in all 3 of them) from here on out and have Johnson finish outside the top 10 in all 3 of them. Of course if Chad Knaus forgets to put tires put on Jimmie's car in one of the races and he's unable to finish any higher than 43rd, then Edwards or Biffle just have to win every race and Jimmie can finish 2nd in the other 2... if they want to take the easy way.
It's still methematically possible for Biffle, Edwards, and Burton (even an outside chance for Harvick) to win, but it's going to take some superb finishes by those 3 and some pretty crappy races from Johnson for it to happen. I just don't see Jimmie making the mistakes he has to make in order for that to happen no matter how well those guys place.
If Hamlin were any kind of sportsman, he would have raced Jimmie harder and taken him out on that final lap when he got loose. What kind of pansy just gives up track position like that at the end of the race? You wouldn't see Carl just sit back and let that happen. Why I bet he'd even smash into a wall just trying to finish one position higher!

I didn't realize how much power my words would have. At the start of the Chase I had said I'd rather see JJ win than Kyle, I'd rather see anyone win.. than to see JJ win. Carl is my second fav driver and I would love to see him pull it off, but will just have to see.

Why I bet he'd even smash into a wall just trying to finish one position higher! Man those last 8 laps were bs! I mean I've never seen so many drivers just give up like they did when JJ was passing them. Even my fav driver let him slide on by! That really pissed me off. New tires or old tires I don't care.

Still don't think it's going to happen, but at least it's turning into a good Chase again. That was quite the call by Bob to chance it on fuel. Good call, but I'm sure I wasn't the only 99 fan chomping at the bit.

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 11/2/2008 5:42:47 PM | I'm bored watching the same ole same ole
I was hoping Gordon could pull it off in Texas. My favs aren't close enough,or in the Chase for me to care anymore.Heck,I was rooting for McMurray to keep the lead just to have someone different for a change

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 11/2/2008 6:35:05 PM | | Nascar has it in for Jack Roush, i don't know why. But you better believe that it will be a Hendrik driver to win the cup. It used to be real racing, it's not anymore. If Hendrik whines, he gets what he wants. I've seen Hendrik drivers such as Johnson get away with things that other drivers get penalized for. It sucks, it's not racing. It's more like a 180MPH corporate parade. | |

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 11/8/2008 5:28:02 PM | So who do you all think will win the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Phoenix on Sunday? My money is on Kyle Busch . | |

Which probably means that there will be a big lack of me posting until the bud shootout. At least I hope I'll be able to be around then.
I think JJ has it in the bag.. As of right now I just want my driver to win.
