Posted: 10/20/2005 6:38:30 AM | Ok ok ok RaceChik ~ Give Earnardt time... how much time? They didnt give Steve Parks a second glance after his wreck, which wasnt his fault. If he wins a Championship, I just dont see it happening with a DEI car. Even Dale Sr wouldnt drive for himself... he knew better.
As for Gordon hon... you know my loyalties there... trust me, the passion is GONE. He already owns shares in Hendricks dear. And he is co-owner of the 48. The 25 car is just a test car. Kenny Shrader drove it, Timmy Richmond drove it... They needed the car to test for the other teams... with limited tests dates, its how these multi car teams get around the rules.
Jeff has so many other interests outside of the track as well... car dealerships, etc... it isnt like he needs any money.. .well except what he pays that b***h.... Brooke!!! Although it leads to many beliefs that Jeff is gay... LOL He isnt the most masculine fellow in the world.
Ok... enough theories... Good Luck to all this weekend... And GO MARK MARTIN or Johnson, Mayfield, Wallace... anyone except Sissy Busch!!!

Posted: 10/20/2005 11:25:39 AM | Sinjia~~Yeah~ I know it wasn't Steve Park's fault and I really liked him but he was not gonna cut it in the Cup cars anyway...no matter where he was! He's an excellent driver in the truck series though!
Like I said I know Gordon owns cars already but I see him in the future as a full time owner with a multi-car stable and on his own. And I have questioned the fact that he could be gay. Sorry! But he is just so feminine!
Just wait and see with Jr. though...he'll get his championship and it will be with DEI!!!!

And Ol' Smoke will be just fine!
But I have to say again.....that if Tony doesn't win it, then I pray it is Mark! It would be nice to see him win but I think Tony is gonna take it away from him. He can try again next year since he's not gonna retire!

Posted: 10/20/2005 2:59:23 PM | Micdean ~ RaceChik pretty well summed it up. And no, I never want to be in Nascar. Craftsman Trucks maybe... but not in Cup. I personally know most all of the drivers in Cup that have come out of sprint cars and midgets. For the past 45 years we have competed against them. Kenny Schrader is the oldest that is left in Nascar now... but Foyt, Unser, Rutherford all before Kenny... then on to J Gordon, Stewart, Leffler, Kahne, Bliss, Blaney, Newman, Crocker, Aaron and AJ Fike, Yeley, and one you may or may not have heard of yet is Boston Reid who just signed on with Hendrick Motorsports.
So I do follow the sport rather closely, as I do cheer on all former open wheel racers who have made the "show". No, not an expert... never claimed to be... but we do have a lot of fun here talking and razing each other about our favorites, which we all have. Join in if you have one and cheer him or her on each week! Racing needs the fans in the seats to help pay the purses, even at the local level!!! | |

Earnhardt 1st and Truex 4th... now granted, not all teams were there... but Johnson was fast as well... Looks like Hendricks and DEI on those restrictor plate tracks again...
Just cant root for Tony... LOL Not yet anyways... now that will all change if Sissy gets up there to challenge... then I will root for Tony and the other eight guys!!!! | |

And since when did Atlanta become a restrictor plate race???? New one to me! HA!
I'd keep my eye out for Edwards at Atlanta. Nope I didn't see the speed charts. But Jr. and Truex both run well there!
Truex is going to go places fast in the Cup series. You wait and see. I think he'll be the best driver that DEI has produced.
And be careful what you say...you'll be rooting for Tony before you know it! It has a way of sneaking up on you!

Here I was looking at speed charts, lap times, and drivers who tested.... didnt even think about that. Daytona and Talladega are it for plates... and I think they should pull them out at those tracks too... well here is one for you RaceChik

Oh happy day... oh happy day... Mr Gordon wins at Martinsville, sweeping both races in 05'... oh happy day!
Oh, and Tony shouldve finished 3rd yesterday. Had to use the ol chrome horn to kick Jimmy out of the way. Notice he didnt do it to Jeff when he was beind him... just Jimmy... respects on and not the other.
Off the subject just a bit... who didnt Scott Riggs hit yesterday!!!!
And congrats RaceChik... Tony the Kitten pulled out to a large 15 point lead over Johnson. Martin is slipping my hopes away... POUT | |

So on Speed I caught the tail-end of Despain and Joy saying something about Johnson being a whiner and that he got punted. Was that by Tony?
I hope so. Long time coming and it will get worse before it gets better!

Although Tony showed a lot of respect to Jeff... more than of course he did for Jimmy. I am just grateful for the win as the Hendrick family wasnt there as they were home because it was one year ago this past weekend that they lost ten members of their family... So Jeff winning helped a little bit.
Now as for calling Jeff a fag... come on now. They prefer to be called Gay!!! LOL Sorry, even I question that one on Jeff. Just cause he has a HOT sizzlin girlfriend! Makes some people question him!
Tony has 15 points on Jimmy, but they are heading to Atlanta dear... and Hendrick cars are tough there... as is DEI cars. So it may just switch over! You missed a really good race RaceChik... even some paybacks. Gave ol Sissy a one lap penalty for punting Mikey... Mikey had a horrible day.
