| What are your pet peeves...... Posted: 11/17/2008 12:23:12 PM | 1) Being interrupted then being asked "What?" 2) Kicking the back of my seat at the movies 3) Talking when you should STFU (ex: Trying to talk to me or ask me something when I'm ON THE PHONE) 4) Licking your fingers instead of using a napkin (ew) 5) Asking what you want [to do] and hearing "I don't care"!
Oh, and of course, people who add me to their favorites list without introducing themselves... hell, strike that. People who add me to their favorites list AT ALL. I am not here to be put on a "list" LoL. Sheesh.

| What are your pet peeves...... Posted: 11/19/2008 8:56:11 AM | 1. people who don't understand that the speed limit posted is the MAXIMUM speed 2. that the above people ONLY drive the speed limit when their radar detectors indicate a speed trap ahead, or they recognize a trap from afar. 3. that the person who drives the speed limit 97% of the time, who does not have a detector nor knows to watch for a trap .. is the one who gets a photo radar ticket because they accidently went over for a minute or two...
Oh, and since it is the season ... people who can't get it through their thick skulls that it is harder to control/stop a vehicle when there is ice, snow, and freezing rain ... and they need to SLOW DOWN!! .... even drive under the speed limit, OMG!!

| What are your pet peeves...... Posted: 11/21/2008 12:45:40 AM | My pet peeves are people who claim to be tolerant and loving, when they are really anything but. I don't like hypocrites and certain people give the word new meaning.
I hate smoking. It smells so bad. It's really awful to be around it.
I don't like people who clearly enjoy hurting others. I'm usually in favor of the underdog.
Poor hygiene. Dirty nails on a date, men or women.
Disrespect and rudeness of pretty much any kind. Lack of consideration.

| What are your pet peeves...... Posted: 11/21/2008 1:33:27 PM | pet peeves?? Rudeness, bad manners, canceling at the last minute, or not calling at all when they do....Disrespect for your parents. Not appreciating that maybe some might have it worse than you do... Complaining, whining, hang ups on the phone, people driving too slow in the left lane during traffic, being rude to the Salvation Army man when all he is doing is being a volunteer... Smoking?? that is a good one, especially if you are a non smoker and in a car with a smoker with the window down and it is cold.... Someone that doesn't say thank you, when it is clear that they should... It is probably best not to hold anyone at too high of a standard, then you are not disappointed... | |

| What are your pet peeves...... Posted: 12/4/2008 7:48:49 AM | hey, how about when you go to the grocery and try to comparison shop, but one thing is priced in dollars per ounce and the other (same kind of thing) is priced in dollars per pound! wow, that one REALLY makes me want to scream.
also these: - ring tones - people who are completely oblivious to their surroundings - spoiled brats, esp. if they're old enough to walk but still sucking on a pacifier

Can an indignant disposition retain customers better than a SMILE? Subway Shops in the State of Washington are the bane of humanity, you have to muddle through the mud of some twit having a bad day, but I love the sandwiches!

Racism, prejudism, putting people down.
Long winded preaching, trying to change my mind .... it's MY mind thank you very much.

| What are your pet peeves...... Posted: 12/4/2008 11:13:08 PM | Was reminded the other day about a major pet peeve of mine ... people who bang their car doors into my truck. My daughter was in the truck and some woman slammed her door into my truck hard enough to shake the truck ... looked at what she did, and went into the store. I was going to wait for her to come out, but thought I'd better not for how mad I was ... | |

| What are your pet peeves...... Posted: 12/5/2008 1:00:15 PM | | Anybody ride subways in NYC - fricking FAT ****es who sit next to you when there's clearly not enough room! Like they want to sit on your lap!! Makes you want to kill them. It's usually fat black or Spanish woman. | |

| What are your pet peeves...... Posted: 12/5/2008 1:17:13 PM | | Rosie486 I agree with your subway comment. It doesn't matter, Black, White or Hispanic. I find it's usually, but not always the overweight people that try to squeeeeeeeeeeze in. Not only do they push you and others around to get 6 inches of seat, then the proceed to wedge their shoulders back and expect you to make room or move out of the way for them. Unfortunately, there isn't enough room for that person to sit and it is rude of them to inconvenience 3-4 other people so they can sit. | |

| What are your pet peeves...... Posted: 12/6/2008 8:21:18 AM | The commercialism and mass consumerism that goes along with the Christmas season ...
Rude people who are out shopping en mass during the Christmas season ...
Driving anywhere where there are stores, malls or other shopping venues during the Christmas season ...
Other than those, I pretty much love the Season ...

| Lamebrains Who Use Extremely Tired and Dated Expressions Posted: 12/6/2008 9:03:30 AM | With a great dismissive sweep of my hand, I write off people who use the expression "commitment phobic."
Could it be that the alleged "CP" just prefers someone/something/some lifestyle other than what you represent (ladies 'n gentlemen)?

| What are your pet peeves...... Posted: 12/12/2008 4:35:26 PM | The Phone: I find that a good majority of folks want to talk way to long, like I have nothing else to do at the moment, they talk and talk. I've learned to ring the door bell if I'm home, have a timer go off and I've also called my number with the cell to say, opps, sorry, I have another call coming in. Or if I'm on the cell, I use the land line to do it. If I'm in the vehicle, in a parking lot tryng to get off so I can cruise on, I'll state that traffic is terrible and that usually gets them to let me go.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy talking, enjoy PR, but lord, I'm only one person. I never had this problem, until I became self employed, but after so many years, I avoid the phone like the plague, in certain times. Mostly on Sundays, when I can ignore it totally, without feeling guilty, and boy is the day of break a wonderful one. Thank God, for Sundays!!!!!!!
