You and me both!! I love it when the number for "customer service" is an automated answering system where the problem you want answered isn't one of the choices and dialing "zero" doesn't take you to an operator. I waste more time just trying to find a dang number where I can talk to someone than I would getting my question answered. Customer service is pretty nonexistant in most larger companies. 
My prediction has been for years that business being cyclic, people will start being will to pay more to deal with a smaller company where they know they'll get personalized customer service. | |

My real pet hate is when Iam watching football or soccor or baseball
... and the guy spits !!! ,...next thing you see is a guy licking his hand to throw the ball or foot ball , thats probably rolled into all that spit !!!..... | |

1. People who blow their noses at the dinner table! "HEY! I'm trying to eat here!"
2. Guys who hold one side of their nose and blow snot out the other onto the ground! "Need a tissue there, pal?"
3. People who do both 1 and 2 at the same time!
4. People who snore louder than the guy next door and then complain they couldn't sleep because someone was snoring!
5. Plaid! Need I say more?
6. People who type run on sentences without even stopping to think that there should be proper points of knowing when to stop typing because they just don't have anything better to say... oh... never mind. | |

~ constant negativity
~ slow drivers in the fast lane 
~ bad tippers
~ poor hygiene
~ snapping gum and licking fingers while eating.

And dang but you stole one of my pet peeves. Bad tippers. Everyone should tip no less then 10% of the meal. But another pet peeve is when the resturant thinks it's ok to add my tip for me! As if they know how much I'm able to give! | |

Re: the phone thing: I use a local internet service provider because a REAL person answers the tech help/customer service line. If all lines are busy I am given the option of leaving a voice message, and someone calls me back, typically within fifteen minutes. AND best of all the folks who answer are local people whose office is only a few miles away from my house.
I also bought an Alienware computer because a real person answers the phone for sales or tech help, and again the person is an American (Miami Florida!).
It can and does make a difference when REAL people answer instead of having to press this or press that or worse yet having to answer a machine that asks the questions instead of a person!!
Amex gives you a choice of inputting numbers or speaking. I feel stupid talking to a machine so I input the numbers instead. Perhaps they will get the message and eliminate the dumb voice machine when enough people input the numbers instead!!
Another pet peeve is having someone on the line when I finally get someone whose English is almost undecipherable. Mind you I don't care if someone has a mild accent but sometimes the thick ones drive me nuts! Interestingly, I recently spoke with customer service people that were in Florida--who had mild accents--while I contacted another company, and the person who answered was from the Philippines but spoke unaccented English! The Florida folks were working for an American company (obviously), and the Philipino fellow was working for an Asian-based firm. All did a good job, and I am thankful for those who do a nice job of customer service.
I recently had a situation where I was on a bus, and a car parked where my bus stop was so I can relate to the above poster.

LMAO! Every time I subject myself to KFC~ I die with horrible stomach pains.
Fortunately, I don't do this often.
Bad tipping and treating servers poorly will literally make me go postal.
You can tell a lot about a person, when you witness them interact with others.
Adding a "mandatory" tip [parties of five or more, here] is just plain wrong.
Raise the prices of the food/beverage and pay them a bit more. That's my theory. | |

Hmm... Toothpaste spit. That isn't to bad... but when someone flings it on to the mirror and refuses to wipe it off... that is a problem.
Another pet peeve: People who get up in the middle of the night, use the pot and then don't flush! That smell builds up through the night as it just sits there. My ex-wife would do it all the time and I'd say "Why don't you flush when your done? No one want's to smell (let alone see) what you leave behind from your behind!" Her reply was... "Well, I didn't want to wake the kids up." Wake EM! FLUSH! ARRRRRRG! | |

The current state of the health care insurance crisis ... EVERYONE who has ever paid taxes or put money into the system should have some type of basic coverage
Lazy people and those who treat others with disrespect and ill intent
Sales people who are quick to take my money but don't look me in my eye as they are conducting the transaction or fail too give me the service that I, as a paying customer, deserve.
Cheaters, liars and thieves ... and especially sicko perverts who prey upon anyone's sexuality !!!
Parents who would rather be their kids "friends" than actively embrace the roll of being a parent and roll model ...
Politics and the incideous and corrupting process ($$$) that goes along with big government ... let's just fix the problems already and forego the debate of which political party is right or wrong ...
That there are such people as "starving artists" and "underpaid teachers"

Posted: 12/14/2007 4:23:58 PM | 1- Calling the 1 - 800 number showing up on my computer in order to have ink cartridges delivered for my printer. (I own a Dell computer.) My call ends up at the other end of the world. Obscure place in India and I have not freaking clue what they are saying!!! They transfered me three times before I could communicate and when I asked where was I calling and the person said the name of a town in India I was so suprised.
Sooooo, I called someone somewhere in India to have ink cartridges for my computer. They were delivered the next day!... Go friggin figure!!!
I mailed some Christmas cards from my village to my parent's village, roughly a 45 minute drive and they have not received it yet!!!... A friggin 45 minute drive... Oh yea wait... It is the Canada Post eh!.... 
I figure my Christmas cards will travel from the east coast to the west coast and back and end up being delivered around January 3rd or so.

You and me both sister! I can't stand Oprah! In fact, I can't stand any of those brainless talk shows that only cater to the half-wits that watch them! I use to think Soap Operas were bad, but this stuff really sinks to the bottom of the sleeze pool.
I also can't stand Reality T.V. What a waste of garbage! When I see people I know talking about this stuff I get  mad and want to just tear into them for being nit-wits! | |
