He would clean the house, wash clothes and go grocery shopping. Plus a few other chores. I found the time for me when I left. LOL, but that story is for another post.

| Women who CANNOT cook to save their lives Posted: 4/20/2006 10:06:42 PM | Yes, I can -and I could even before I met my ex-husband , who is a chef and taught me some of his special recipes, but still have not found a man who is looking for that skill....Gee, maybe my friend who said all the men I'm meeting are gay is right after all...Rats...!{and I do laundry and ironing, too, but usually get laundry hung up in time to avoid wrinkles in clothes..} Something's wrong with this picture, it seems.... | |

| Women who CANNOT cook to save their lives Posted: 4/21/2006 5:49:38 PM | I'm a pretty good cook, but it's the basic meat-and-potatoes, spaghetti, soup, stew, meatloaf cooking. My ex loved to cook all kinds of gourmet things...and really relaxed and enjoyed doing it! That was fine by me, and so long as he was happy to cook, I was happy to clean up...even if he did manage to dirty up every pot and pan in the place in the process!
If a woman can't cook and the man can...good...just let her do the cleaning up. (And if the woman is the one who can cook....well, then....)

| Women who CANNOT cook to save their lives Posted: 4/22/2006 12:21:04 PM | ^^^^ Look joseph you're on top this time...
My sister use to be a pathetic cook...one day she made this nasty meatball soup and I swear she put every spice that she could find in it...even mrs dash...oh nasty! That was my cue..I bought her a crock pot to begin with and showed her a few easy recepies..then we moved onto the more difficult things and used the stove and oven..now I'm not afraid when she calls and asks us to dinner..but it took 6 years..and I cooked a lot of meals at her house..wait...sometimes I still do...guess we still have work to do?
