Wow, pressure's on lady bugg now more than the Oilers. If the Canucks and Flames both beat the Red Wings, lady bugg won't be able to hold her head up here if her team loses to them.

^ ^^the greatest player ever to play the game on the greatest team to ever play the game from the better of the two major Albertan cities. Does that help?

OK...I'm back....hey kitty cat...were you aware of the fact that the only way that the flames can have a winning product is by having 5 edmontonians in their regular lineup? And their best player is from...ahem...where??

Damn them Flames! Aiight, the Wings are on a downswing.... but dont all you west teams peoples be gettin big heads just yet! Theres a LOOOONG way to go yet!
And that damn Jerome guy... I hate to admit that hes freakin good. And a brotha too! With...skills!!! Damn I grew up with nuff bros in the ghetto, and Im glad most of my black friends in the States dont watch hockey... a sport that ALLOWS fighting??? Theyd go out there, and not even bring sticks! lol Theyd probably be the WWE shift we were talkin about earlier!
And hey char2, your boy Weekes (from our convo on best goalies) is lookin pretty sharp... he really makes losing look exciting!! lmao!

Cannot claim I watched WEEKS lately.. I know that Dipeitro looked pretty damned hot the other night though. I was surprised.

Crosby had another one..

lol I'm behind by days when it comes to my hockey... lol I need to catch up.. or start over. the only person I've been keeping track of is Crosby lately. Shame on me

LADY Bugg was just wondering if you were still alive.

Char2---I am now in the position to recuse myself from any and all discussions of goalies since the Bolts have decided to forego the season without one.

Shai---that WWE thing I referred to (sending out a surgically enhanced shift) had more to do with a shift of women, sortof like the WWE Diva deal...I can see it coming

OK--question of the day...What the hell has happened to the physical aspect of hockey? Does anyone fight anymore? The Bolts sure as hell don't--our last glove dropper was Vinny C. We play the freakin Islanders tonight, and they are probably the only team more repulsive than the Flyers, and we'll waltz instead of hit...with the shootout they may as well add choreographed dancing.

I'll think we shall see the physical aspect come back a bit as the season progresses. . We'll see a little more grinding along the boards.. and maybe some more contact. Right now they are scared to go for boarding. amongst other things.

Personally I like finesse players. But I like to see hard hitting as well. I think maybe mid-season during the all star break we shall see some changes perhaps.. they can figure what is working and what isn't.

If they bring in no touch icing be worried then.. lol.

I'MSENSUAL You definitely need a goalie.. and without St. Louis.. that hurts.

On the other hand.. FLEURY Stopped 45 Shots last night!!!!!!!

lol OT decided by figure skating judges... dont trust the Russian vote! lol
I think havin the divas out there will only cater to the... male viewers... from other threads here, I think most women want to aspire to playing AGAINST us, and they could the way TB has been hitting!! lol... to their credit.. theyre more of a skills team, than a blue collar grinding team. Still, football and basketball have cheerleaders.. we should get cheerskaters! lol thats soooo sexist I know char2's gonna jersey me for this one! lol
Maybe the hitting seems a lil subdued... because of the year off? I dunno...I havent really noticed a huge change.

char---hitting, I think, will never be the same, especially with the quick whistles and the broad interpretation of obstruction. As for Fleury--either trade him to us now or he will also be subject to the voodoo dolls (how's Theodore feeling? )

Saiyan: The Bolts do have a cheerleader type thing going--these young lovelies who go out and clean the ice during breaks. I know a "Divas" thing would make the ladies mad, so, forget that. You are right about TB being more skills than grinders, and maybe as the season plays out, it will show, however, this team could use a guy right now to just drop his gloves and pound someone.

hey cat, while they are tied in points, and number of wins, the canucks have less losses and more goals for...which is why they are above the Shames in the Division. This is also why the Canucks are in second place in the Conference, while the Shames are in 5th...remember that if the playoffs were to start today...the stats would place the Canucks ahead of the Flames based on these numbers

...added bonus, the three games the Canucks have in hand on the Flames virtually guarantees that we'll maintain our position...unless, of course, the Nucks lose all three games and continue losing while the Flames keep on winning at their current rate

here's the link for the conference standings as of today: http://www.nhl.com/standings/20052006/conference_standings.html

and don't worry about ladybugg...i'll never make her choose between her two loves...we share the same mistress

tick .. i have that link on my favorites list and in the L10 the flames have played better than even the red wings (which is #1). they have played and won 8 games in a row...
even though the flames are in 5th over all in their conference they haven't lost to the kings and they have won 2 of the three games over the canuck.
the oilers are in 8th place and by the looks of this game... well hate to say it, but they look like their get up and go ...got up and went

its a good thing your her love... her mistress just isnt doing it

on edit... pronger is a hottie... but he plays for the wrong team *smiles*
