| Hockey anyone? Posted: 10/13/2005 2:21:19 PM | You know when those flames burn all season long it leads to a lot of atmospheric pollution, hence the abundance of choking come April. | |
|
| Hockey anyone? Posted: 10/13/2005 2:48:56 PM | | and you are a Canucks fan? right | |

who beat the canucks in the first round, and wont talk about the poor oilers lol Yup, it was a freak year alright! No Big Bert to toss around Iginla and crew; the Oil bowed out like the flames usually do. Go figure...must have been one of those weird planetary alignments.
the only good thing was when the Leafs lost in the second round to the Flyers. Yes, I have to agree on that one!!!

| Hockey anyone? Posted: 10/13/2005 3:40:10 PM | Canucks fans realize this you have a problem called " Cloutier-itis" a diesease that cant get to the second round
its like Oilers fan they have a problem called " whats aplayoff'itis"
|

Canucks fans realize this you have a problem called " Cloutier-itis" a diesease that cant get to the second round I think MOST Canuck fans would agree with you about Clouts. There are many days when he lets pucks through him that I wonder if he's actually composed entirely of gas.
its like Oilers fan they have a problem called " whats aplayoff'itis" Must have been an airborne virus that spread northward from down south...you know, that city that never makes the playoffs until last year.
|
| Hockey anyone? Posted: 10/13/2005 3:50:18 PM | | Oilers, Canucks, Whatever... It's all about the Devils this year... They took a year off after '03, and now they're coming back for another Cup... | |
|
| Hockey anyone? Posted: 10/13/2005 3:50:19 PM | but the Flames have turned the corner they got rid of the seven year illness called "notmakingtheplayoff" and its a slow start but wait until april go flames go. | |
|
| Hockey anyone? Posted: 10/13/2005 3:56:13 PM | onegreatm8t... you have it right on the money....
its like Oilers fan they have a problem called " whats aplayoff'itis"<<<<< lol how true
| |
|
| Hockey anyone? Posted: 10/13/2005 3:59:53 PM | are you a flames fan its a cat dammit?
and donutlimo, thats the only team that makes me nervous, those Devils there defence like the Flames defence is like my grand mothers night gown "covers everything"
|
| Hockey anyone? Posted: 10/13/2005 4:05:16 PM | >>>that city that never makes the playoffs until last year<<<
...and then they lost....big surprise...!
|
| Hockey anyone? Posted: 10/13/2005 4:06:20 PM | onegreatm8t.... ya gotta love the flames.... they are the best team out there. with Iginla and kipper.. hey they are headed to bring home the cup this year... the last seaon they had it 6th game 3 period.. to bad Iginla didnt challenge it..
GO FLAMES GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
| Hockey anyone? Posted: 10/13/2005 4:28:52 PM | | ^ i don't think so! they won't be able to clutch and grab and all those wonderful things they did to get to the finals...no piggybacking either. | |
|
| Hockey anyone? Posted: 10/13/2005 5:50:49 PM | Okay so mabye the canucks are rather overly optomistic when it comes to Cloutier and the sedins... if only we could dump Henrick.
They need to start pulling cloutier earlier, the man sucks under pressure.
Anywho the canucks never make sense, thats what keeps them intersting, like women.
Why did Toronto have to win a game, dammit!!!

The Canucks have to do something about Cloutier though. Seriously bring someone from the minors.. anything would be better. It isn't just under pressure.. it is all the time
SEAN Christopher oh they have some skilled players.. the sedins, nasland.. Cooke.

It isn't just under pressure.. it is all the time I think that a scarecrow could do a similar job...at least until we find a suitable replacement and in the meantime we could have more cap room to get another player.

| Hockey anyone? Posted: 10/13/2005 6:24:53 PM | A scarecrow.. that might be of some help.. Maybe some of the NHLERS have seen that scary movie where the scare crow jumps off his pole at night and sneaks into the famers house..
they could bring a minor league goalie up, pay him less and get rid of cloutier.. It would be better. I felt so bad for them the other night.
When a goalie is playing well, it helps motivate the players to go and work down the other end of the ice.
|
| Hockey anyone? Posted: 10/13/2005 6:29:42 PM | you're right....but the entire team played poorly so the blame can be shared equally. i kept thinking the suffering would end after each goal, but to my surprise, it just kept coming and coming. i never thought they'd get blown out that badly...and BY THE WILD!?!?
