| Are women afraid of Attractive guys? Posted: 7/20/2009 7:09:59 PM | The better a man looks, the less I tend to trust him. That doesn't mean that he isn't trustworthy, it's just that a lot of men I've met who are real "lookers" are so much into playing their advantage that they are really hard to take seriously. I suspect they may be too high maintenance for me and competition with vying females would be fierce! I don't think I'd feel content with that experience.
But how can we all come to a conclusion as to who is considered universally attractive? I don't really tend to go for the pretty boy type and I find that attractiveness is more about style than physical attributes. You can really make almost anyone look great. I know...I spent 15 years doing so as a hairstylist/cosmetologist.
I don't know, it's nice if a guy has a nice face and a warm smile...but I'll forgive him for any physical faults he may have if he has a heart of gold and a winning disposition. His looks aren't what comforts me.

Once this police officer came to my house to bring me stuff my ex high jacked, and I looked at him and my jaw dropped, he was gorgeous. I never had a man make me stand there with my mouth open like that before. That was something lol
He met my eyes and an it looked like he thought I was more attractive than he thought I'd be too. It was one of those moments that slow down. That split second felt like forever. Anyway, I quickly gained my composure and talked to him like he was any other guy.
I even dropped something on his cruiser and he stepped forward to catch it from falling on the cement. I said "opps, I am dropping things" and I heard him give a gentle laugh. The air was thick with something. I never had a moment like that before in my life. Intimidated? No. Knowing when it is inappropriate to hit on someone? Yeah.
