| | When ya write to another and not get a reply..Page 4 of 4 (1, 2, 3, 4) | At least with an unread/deleted or read/deleted you know where you stand....  and move on.
It's when you take the time to write a personal email, then it is read and sits in their inbox with no response that irks me.
I have heard from another POFer that when this is done, that the guy is "weighing his options", meaning : he will wait and see if something better comes along before responding back to you...
Sad really, because you never know what a great woman you might have let get away by having that attitude.... | |

I take the time to seek out someone who looks like a good match, write a personal message to the person, and Read-Delete.
It's a common courtesy to say something back, even if it's to tell them thanks for the message but not interested. If you say "Hello" to someone in person and they just look the other way and ignore you, that's called being RUDE. And yes, there are many many rude people on here with the attitude that "Hey, I can be rude to you because I don't know you and this is the internet; I'm anonymous and being rude has no consequences. " Over the period of about a year now, I have gotten perhaps 3 courtesy replies. That's it. Pathetic.
So, what is this all about? Why the rudeness? Are all men potential stalkers? Is that it? | |
