And yeah I would say you need to not only check your eyesight, but your reading ability as well and go back and look who posted the the original posting,
The very statement "Do you believe there are any good men left?" is an insult to every man.
Every man except for CreoleLibra who likes his job as an apologist.
The OP was a guy and I guess if I looked like a stunt double or standing in for Homer Simpson I would feel pretty crappy about the fact that at your age you havent been married, dont have a significant other or for that matter do you stand a chance of having one with your neaderthal attitude...
And in case you hadnt looked at my profile I have two very beautiful daughters which means my ex was damn good looking ...(at least I have one) and speaking of which... my ex is a great mom and we both raise our kids to look for the best in people and that they have the right to demand respect. No matter what difference exsist between my ex and I, I still show my daughters what a good man should be (although I know I am not perfect) and I swear to God if they ever became involved with peabrained neaderthal then I would be obliged as a loving and doting and protective father to open up a whole can of Texas style "whoopass" so stop spouting off and go take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself, "Gee why am I all alone?"
Furthemore, I will never be an apologist (not sure if that is the proper english verbage to be used) as long as I have female children...get a life DELTA ALPHA | |

Most of the men that I have met in my life time are really good men. I accept nothingness in my life......maybe it is as simple as it takes one to know one..... friends..........like attracts like does it not.......maybe finding the good ones is as simple as asking yourself.....do you deserve the best life as to offer...to you expect too find the good ones....or do you expect too find losers?
I KNOW THERE ARE PELENTY OF GOOD MEN LEFT.......AND I AM BLESSED TO HAVE THE GOOD ONES IN MY LIFE........THEY ARE THERE.................................

Posted: 4/7/2007 10:56:07 AM | I continue to have faith that there are, but I am beginning to wonder. So many of us, gals included, write what we think the opposite sex wants to hear, only to find out that is not what they want at all. I try to be everything that I say I am, but it seems that the guys that respond are not wanting a "real" woman in their lives. I think it is truly time to be who we say we are and to honest about what we want. Personally, I would love to meet someone who is not into seeing how many women he can pencil into his schedule on any given day.....
Be yourself and be comfortable with things as they are....there are reasons!

It is a time consuming process, sometimes it is fun, sometimes not, but it just one of those things you have to do if you don't want to be alone the rest of your life. I have met some good men, one may be right for me, some were not and are friends now. And I still believe there is no such thing as too many friends, but that's just me, everyone is different. | |

Having at least tried and learning what your own faults are and growing from failure is the true measure of learning and maturity.
Try it you might find...ahhh nevermind, your too far gone in your twisted view of women.

In response to the question do you beleive there are some good men left out there... of course there are and when ya look at how many of us actually sign up to this site its an indication that deep down we all truly beleive that theres a possibilty we will meet the right person for each of us.Unfortunatly alot of times previously bad relationships and experiences make us all a little more critical and demanding of what we expect.Sometimes it just a matter of what we allow ourselves to see...too many ppl look supefically for what they expect to find in their mate..my belief is take the time to get to know someone deep down...personality lasts .... looks will fade over time..... take the time to see the real person and alot of us may be shocked at just how many awesome men are on this site | |

My sweet "cavesbeach" for instance who was recently swept off his feet by some cute Aussie cutie...I'm heartbroken but lucky bag!I know some awesome men on here. Some are not for me, some are great friends, some are just good men, but I find 4/10 are great and in this day and age that is not too bad a number...below half but not too bad. For some gals it's 2/10 so I won't complain. | |

Posted: 4/10/2007 12:48:32 AM | There are good men left. In my family there are many. My older nephews have grown up into fine gentlemen thanks to their upbringing, along with thier parents. I have also met some nice men through this site, yet every once in a while there is a bad apple, but over all it has been okay.
I prefer to respect the ones that respect women, even though we are Canadian.

(bad apples shall we say), besides that I dated a beautiful Canadian woman in Edmonton for about 4 years and to this day we are still great friends.
P.S. She also believes in raising her teenage sons to be respectful young men, not uncompassionate women bashing neaderthals. | |

It would seem that as in anything in life, we just have to find the one that is right for us and that meshes with our own philosophies of what constitutes good in our own eyes. | |
