| Do you believe that there are some Good Men left ?

several posts on this page by women allude to the problem - there should not have to be so many single people - men make all the effort they can but still rely on the women to choose among the suitors. the ultimate choosing is where the problem lies. Get past the cavewoman mentality and open your eyes! This is the modern age where modern thinking is more appropriate. | |

Wait a minute, i'm cornfused since i'm a cavewoman and all. 
My eyes are WIDE open dude, but mostly all I see are men who are acting like cavemen themselves. They think they can show us a side of beef and then grab our hair and drag us back to their cave for the the night. What's up with that?? If that is modern thinking than I want nothing to do with it.
Well of course there are good men left. I guess i've just been looking right.  | |

Posted: 7/8/2008 11:59:15 AM | Honestly.. I do believe there are good men/women left in the world.. very few and far between that haven't been corrupted by the world around them. I am a very good , warm ..open hearted person I am sweet sometimes too sweet and my loyality is beyond words but the second you make me lift an eyebrow and think somethings up with this... I shy away quickly... extreamly quickly... i mean i know what i want out of life... and i know what kind of company i want to keep in my life.. sometimes i just need to be reassured that the other party is "good" too... | |

You get to raise other guy's children instead of yours, receive the badboy's leftovers, and pay for whatever bad thing the bad guy did to her. Besides of receiving her when she's already way past her prime, her beauty and life squandered on bad guys. Because she wants a good man only because she can't attract bad guys anymore. But if some bad guy accepts her, she will leave you as fast as you can say "pwned". And you will be nailed for child support for children that aren't yours, while she's screwing the "exciting" bad boy.
Because there are millions of good men in this world. If she didn't find one when she was younger, unspoiled and childless, the reason is very simple: SHE DIDN'T WANT ONE.
So be bad. Let other sucker play Captain Save-A-Ho. | |

There are a few good men left, but I have not met a good man yet; my father is also very self centered, seems to be a male thing, to think only about yourself first and not others; sad but true; I find that women in general are more open and truly care about the welfare of others.
I suppose that's why your father preferred to buy beer instead of groceries, left you home alone while he was out drinking with his buddies, and stopped working just because he felt like it.
But probably he worked his ass off to give you an education, spent a lot of extra time at work instead of having a well-deserved rest, and wore the same old clothes so you were able to have new, shiny things.
But hey, you say he was very self-centered. And you wouldn't lie about that. | |

Unfortunately good men are overlooked for the not so good.
I like to beleive that eventually at some stage good men will be preferred due to a few bad experiences. Hopefully before good women are totally turned off by a number of bad experiences. | |

The qualities which defines a man a "good" man can vary greatly from one woman to the next.. | |
