| Do you believe that there are some Good Men left ?

The bad thing is that many women look for good men only after they gave everything to bad boys. I've heard women saying: "I'm tired of dating jerks, I want a good man". So, they sowed their wild oats, and now they want a "non-judgemental" guy. And woe on the guy who dares to ask her how many partners she had or if there is something in her that she hasn't given before.
To deserve a good man, she should be a good woman. And no, a reborn virgin or reformed sl*t doesn't qualify as "good woman".

Problem is that online it's so hard to get to know the real person... many honest misunderstandings are natural in this type of communication. So I bet many good men have drifted in and out of my reach on POF. Of course lots of dumb-as*es have to. If I was really hunting for a relationship I think this would drive me crazy! Since I'm mostly just here for friends, it's not that big a deal. | |

But, I don't believe I'll find him until the universe is ready for us to meet. In the meantime, I guess I'll just have to practice on the not-so-perfect for me men.

I would have to admit, though, that after a lifetime of seeing the majority of men treat the women in their lives poorly, act terribly, and refuse to take responsibility for their own actions, it can be a challenge to retain the above mentality. But, the few great men that I have seen in action are enough to convince me that while the expectations that I harbor may be rare, the breed has not entirely died out - yet. | |

The more we communicated, the more we learned that we were perfect for eachother, and now long term plans are being made. So, you see, there are still great men out there, just have to wait til your paths cross. | |

I came on here looking for just friendship with folks chatting on the forums, and I found my future bride....God brought us together with the help of POF.
So just don't give up, keep looking and stop whinning if you have not yet met Mr Right or Ms Right, she is or he is out there, just give it time. | |

If you really think there are no decent, good or great guys left, then so to a shelter and start adopting cats. Okay, just joking, but seriously there are plenty, but they're a bit harder to find because they don't make a lot of noise to draw attention. Don't need to, but they're out there to be found. | |

We learn about this in health class when they seperate the girls and the boys....and they tell us we MUST be bad or else. There's got to be good men left. I'd like to attribute my run of bad luck to poor personal choices and a temperment tha just begs to be dumped on. (Shy, sweet, and super self sacrificing, wouldn't notice a red flag if it inserted itself sideways up my butt. Hundreds of scratch tickets discarded repeatedly in a glove copartment, for instance. Should have seen that coming from about fiftymiles away, tee hee.) )
Good men abound, I know they do. My stepdad, for instance, kicks *ss. He and my mom are in their early sixties, have been together for 12 years, and they are so in love that being around them often makes me want to take out my own eyes with a spoon. In a good way, of course.
I know that there have to be men out there who would appreciate a stellar chick and not hurt her. Much. ;)

BUT THERE ARE STILL A LOT OF MEN WHO ARE RAISED WITH RESPECT FOR WOMEN.. WHO ARE TOUGHT THAT MANHOOD IS VERY IMPORTANT TOO WOMENKIND.. AND THAT A GOOD HONEST DOLLAR IS HARD LABOR BUT IS WORTH EVERY SECOUND OF SWEAT YOU WORK FOR..
I BELIVE THAT THERE ARE MEN STILL OUT IN THE WORLD WHO CAN FIX ANYTHING BECOUSE THEY HAVE BEEN TOUGH 'COMMON SENCE'.. THIS IS LACKING IN ARE SOCIETY.
I BELIVE THAT THERE ARE GREAT MEN IN THIS WORLD WHO ARE ROMANTIC AND KNOW WHAT INTAMACY IS AND HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO AWOMEN..
I BELIVE THAT IF WOMEN WOULD JUST QUIT 'B'ITCHING SO DAMN ABOUT THIS AND THAT AND ACCEPT A MAN FOR WHO HE IS.. BUT NEVER ACCEPT DECEPTION.. WE WOULD ALL BE FINE.
I BELIVE THAT IF MANKIND WOULD WAKE UP AND ACCEPT THAT WOMEN ARE DETAILED AND IT IS MANS DUITY IN LIFE TO KNOW WHEN TO WALK AWAY FROM A ARGUMENT. SO HE CAN GET LAID LATER THAT NIGHT INSTEAD OF HAVING THE KIDS AND ROOF EXPLODE ..
So yes i belive and will always belive that there are great men in the world and i will find the man for me.. Who is a handy man.. who is a family orentated man even in his 40'/50's still loves the family setting. Who knows that women are not responisible for monthly cycles.. lol and that menipause is a natural thing.. so give a hug and make the women a bath and you will get laid at the end of the day.. then end.  | |
