| Things in profiles that are a turn off? Posted: 10/24/2005 1:48:47 AM | hi London Tony.. Have to agree most of what you put on your list pee's me off too.. also find it annoying when guys put "if you're over a size eight don't bother sending me a message"..just how exactly are us cuddly single mum's meant to be given a chance when some guys out there are so shallow.. admittedly us girls can be just as shallow.. Also hate it when you get messages from guys with no pictures... look it took a lot of courage for me to post my picture so why can't you show the same courtesy I mean its nice to have at least a rough idea of who you're talking to.. right??? and yes I know that some people don't see how night clubbing can be seen as an interest but if you don't get to go very often it can be interesting..lol... I like to nightclub to go people watching.. us human beings are very funny creatures and can be very entertaining.. also don't like it when people rant on about other's putting that they are looking for someone to hang out with.. as I've put on my profile I've put that as I think you need to be friends for something ( if anything) to develop...
Oh and yes people who rant on about ex partners.. WHY???.. I have 2 ex husbands and to be honest I can think of much better things to talk about in my life then either of them..lol

Posted: 10/24/2005 12:12:34 PM | I'm with you Shesakaraokequeen LOL just because a girl is a size 8 doesnt mean she is healthy, I can outswim, outcycle, outdance most skinny minnies I know... I don't drink, don't smoke and have really good bloodpressure apparently. So all in all I may be overweight, but I am a hell of a lot healthier than a lot of size 8's that I know. Plus I can actually go around during the winter without 15 layers of clothes on and still be quite warm.

Its ace not having to wear 15 layers of clothing in the winter..lol.. all my skinny friends freeze and can't go anyway without a coat that makes them look like Mr Staypuff..lol.. and I agree with you hun.. I'm no where near a size 8 and my blood pressure astounds my doc every time he takes it.. I don't drink very often and have just quit smoking (finally) and have to say am a fairly healthy cuddly girl.. besides I have this little motto that keeps me smiling when someone has a go about my size I merely say " but darling I'm built for comfort.. not speed...".. they generally don't know how to respond to that..lol

I also keep a dictionary next to my pc so I don't make any spelling faux pas's..lol

I wonder how many people get passed by simply based on the profile? I hate the ones asking for an intelligent, solvent man, by who's standard are they measuring? As someone has previously said, too many people make far too many conditions, no wonder they cant find someone. Marco, I have spelling problems as well, do a search on the web for a program called IESpell it's a spell checker that works within Internet explorer. I can highly recommend it.
