Sheesh, if someone had the surgery complete, was living a reasonably sane life as a woman, and we had a mutual attraction to one another, why not? The older I get, the more I like to keep my options open.
A recent conference I attended had a session on sexual identity and chromosomal abnormalities. Recent gains in science gives credence to one feeling as if the opposite gender is trapped inside of their body. Interesting stuff.
One of the benefits of aging gracefully, is the ability to be more open-minded.
I recently read something, somewhere,(forgetfulness, the downside of aging),

I can't imagine going out with a woman that became a man and not noticing the difference. Think of Chas Bono, her girl friend is a lesbian that will now be with a man. It does take someone that is open, it doesn't make someone homophobic if they don't want to be with someone that has had operations to become another sex. | |

No, they are wanabee women. Modifying your physical parts does NOT make you a woman. Pretending to be a woman does not make you a woman. Do some people grow up in the wrong physical body for their gender preference? Perhaps. However, is this a physical issue or a physiological issue? Is this an issue with the chemistry of their brain or purely a physical issue ( wong body parts). I don't know. I do know that the statement "t girls are women" is much much too simplistic. | |

And for the record, "homophobic" means you are AFRAID of the same sex...Generally as an irrational fear....
It has NOTHING to do with whether or not you like or dislike gay people... I personally don't like gay people... I have no fear of them.... and I have no use for them either.... I don't like horseradish, but it doesn't mean I have a fear of it....

It takes a hell of a lot of guts to be true to yourself. These ladies are born women and through a birth defect have male bodies. Their brains have been wired just as any other female from birth; they've known since they were young they were girls. It's not rocket science, it's a simple concept. Science is still working out the how and why it occurs, but it does.
Transwomen are not pretending to be women, just as you aren't pretending to be a man. You've known since childhood you were male. How did you know? Most of us know before we even find out that girls and boys have different body parts under our clothes. | |

I would think the anus would be more controlled as there aren't muscles they can put in when they create a vagina that would flex/contract etc. the same as a vagina. They also have to use lubrication as they don't produce it. A vagina is nothing like an azz. A vagina naturally lubricates and contracts in all the right places. It is a shame some men don't appreciate what nature intended the penis to be inserted into. | |
