Not to be critical.. but nobody can control how somehow else elects to perceive them!.. Your perception of someone is always influenced by your own filters and based on your own experiences. While another can present themselves to enable you to look beyond your own self instituted filters and often only after having gotten to know what those barriers are that a person has, the responsibility of your perceptions are your own.
Sorry for the rant.. but its annoying when someone holds another resposible for their views, perceptions and choices.
mmmm... Need more happy pills this morning.. too early...

Posted: 12/23/2005 3:24:24 AM | Well... at hte risk of interupting a good a$$ kicking... or groping as the case may be....
I am seeking one very special woman... that at times I don't think exists.... but will continue to look for anyway, because the rest of the time I believe that she must be out there somewere.
Those of you who know me know that I am very seldom ever at a loss for words... And yet, it would seem that I am still unable to communicate the appropriate description of her...
I have met some very nice people on here... and please don't misunderstand. I value friendship very highly... however that one... that I would spend the rest of time past eternity with remains elusive... Someone who understands and accepts that sometimes a man of honesty, integrity and principal sometimes has to pay the costs of doing what he believes to be right... that sometimes it is better to wait than to indulge immediate gratification... and that real honesty means not lying... about anything. She is someone who shares a similiar concern for those around here... is strong enough and confident enough in herself to be able to walk to the beat of her own drum, as I do, without being arrogant... but still be able to commit to the concept of becoming one with another...
Although relatively average in appearance... I am not average in character... and I seek the same. But the relationship I would have with that one who remains elusive would be anything but average... the love... physical... sexual... (yes, to those that don't know, there is a difference)... mental... spiritual... and intelectual... would know no bounds... and grow between us for as long as we would be together... It is not easy being a tin_guy... and perhaps that makes me less attractive to some than I might otherwise be... (besides being what some politely describe as eccentric)... but ultimately... it is would be worth the effort to get to know me.... that one who does reel me in will end up with a prize that transcends the obvious.
Ok, it is 05:30, time for me to have a nap....please forgive my babbling....
I don't know if I am making sense to anyone here or not... but just my 2 cents worth... | |

Posted: 12/23/2005 5:14:56 AM | i think i just want to find some nice ppl. everyone i been meeting lately seems to get my back up with one arrogance (or ignorance) or another. one girl had tons of "friends" yet talked bad about every one of them, what was she saying about me? the guys didn't wanna be friends and dont want to stick around if they're not getting into your pants... cant be nice to ur fem-friend's guy cuz then ur trying to steal him but cant ignore him cuz then ur a jealous b*tch who wished u had him.... i could go on........ and on....... and on.......................
basically, i'm looking to toss my batch of "friends" and find new ones... maybe i'll even find a guy to date, but, not here to limit myself to "the one". i would like to find nice ppl i can chat with, talk with and hang-out with once in awhile.i'm not much into the social games and hypocrises. | |

Posted: 12/23/2005 7:59:24 AM | I am looking for a woman to be a friend. Someone to share movies, dinners, walks, and long deep conversations with. Someone that is open to discussing anything and everything.
I am also looking for a woman who makes my heart race. Someone I think about all day just waiting until I can see her that evening.
Ideally, I would like to find a woman that could be both of those things for me and I could be both for her.
Until we find each other, I want to find someone where there is a spark of physical attraction and enough common interests that we decide to have a cup of coffee and see if we want to take it further.
I am also looking for a get together like the New Year's party since I don't think I will find anyone by sitting in my apartment. I hope to see a lot of you on the 31st. | |

Which probably to most people would appear sane. So all in all, maybe you are right... Are there 2 sane women out there? (one for each of us). | |

Met some cool folks and from them hope to just have some fun peeps to hang out with in the nursing home one day....Like Louis!! and Pixy!! and Butt and Sassy..to name a few !! and toolgirl and redheadgirl...and and and....    | |

Posted: 12/28/2005 9:05:05 AM | It is funny, that this thread was started some time ago and we all wanted that "special" somebody to be with and now we have mellowed out some in the way we see a relationship and the ones we meet...We want our friends and we want our loves, but we are getting all kinds of stuff from being here and going to the gatherings...
Who the hell knows?? You just might find that one we are desperately looking for at one of the get togethers and they may not even be from the sight...... So it is interesting to go back and read some of the earliear post and see how we have changed our way of thinking and the get a better feel for each other........ WAIT!!! Who just grabbed me??? Thats not the kind of feel I was talking about!!!!!!  all though that may not be a bad way to get a feel for someone ...........JK........... | |
