One of my favourite sayings is "Even the Queen of England uses the toilet",meaning we're all just human beings.
They could be the hottest person on earth..I mean a true Greek God...but if they don't have a personality...meh.
And,if they don't find me attractive or whatever...life goes on. | |

I've never had anything even resembling game, and don't like or appreciate a
challenge. I'll smile at anyone.
But if they don't acknowledge the smile-or give
me a dirty look back-I don't even bother.

Posted: 10/17/2005 9:51:40 AM | I know I have felt intimidated by someone before...but it sure never kept me from forging forth with at least trying! ;)
I met my honey online...had some pretty iffy pictures to go by...and we joked around back and forth about the whole looks factor. (He even sent me a mug shot of James Brown as a joke!!) LOL When we finally did meet in person...OMGawd...my jaw dropped at how gorgeous he was!! Of course I went through a lot of insecurities..."this guy will never give me a chance to get to know him/get to to know me" and things like that...but I pushed those aside and gave it a whirl and we are still going strong after nearly two years! ;) | |

I still would take someone would made my insides tingle with their personality and little quirks then someone who was HOT and did nothing for me..... now give me both and great...... | |

It is also unfortunate that men have to be the ones to initiate. I do feel that most women no matter how attractive will give you the time of day if you approach them. If they don’t you can’t take it personally. There may be ten reasons why she doesn’t want to talk and none of them have to do with you. Confidence is something that woman are certainly attracted to. I think it’s best to approach someone and say or do something different. Most attractive woman get hit on so much by the same type of boring guys. You should certainly be yourself, but make sure that you are interesting and funny. Different is good when it comes to conversations at a bar. When you start getting along well it is still important to give her space. After all, you came to the bar with friends (not her). I think it’s much better to get her phone number and call her some other time than hang on her for the night. | |
