You see a jerk can be an intelligent well educated and well employed physically fit high acheiver ,while our typical badboy[whom you ladies just love to death] is usually uneducated ,underemployed [if at all] substance abuser,smoker heavydrinker, partyer . scrawny or out of shape with a beer gut[you ladies know you love that sexy little spare tire] generally he will have a few tatoos no drivers licence or car[because he will be driving your car and you will be paying his rent] and for some reason women under the age of 29 just love to make babies with this type of guy? And as you will find out he will never pay his child support because if he does have a job it is always"under the table" .We will deal with ***holes in the near future. | |

But when I observe the community at large or when I am at the park with my son ect...it seems to me that it is the women that have chosen to mate with these guys that are the struggling young single moms getting no support or help from there sexy little jerks and badboys and are left on there own to raise the kids with minimal income and a sub standard lifestyle? whats more is many of these women have a different badboy father for each of these kids so would someone please tell me how this is effective natural selection at work....? when the boring responsible well employed [and maybe not so sexy or hot] goodguy stays and raises his kids to become succesful members of society? | |

Normally by then.. they have KIDS, more issues than Time magazine, not the "hot stuff" they were years ago and they are "changed" or "celibate!"
Don't waste ur time with them--go and find u GENUINE and GOOD female not someone that has been passed around like a collection plate in church! Women raise their standards all the time when they are through "playing" sooo men need to raise theirs!

Posted: 11/27/2008 9:34:36 PM | In my experience, it's the women whom think that they are all that and a box of crackers that suffer from this tragedy.
She's got tons of guys drooling all over her and thinks that she can have ANY man that she wants, but wants none of the ones that are drooling all over her.
But when she comes across a guy that just see's her as another broad and she realizes that her beauty, charm, and "gift from God-ness" doesn't phase him one bit......she's stopped in her tracks.
His aloofness towards her places her in complete bewilderment and somehow from an attraction towards him. I think that it's one of those "unattainable" attractions.
What she doesn't know, is that some guys just play the game because they know it will work to gain the desired effect. While other guys REALLY could give a rat's azz about her one way or the other. So, he acts that way because he REALLY could care less about her.
See, so SOMETIMES some games aren't all that bad! He's just resorting to a certain games just to get her attention and then let her discover what a really great guy he really is.
But, you're playing with fire and sometimes can get burnt.
ALSO, there are those women whom see that a guy doesn't appear to be interested in her, and she just shrugs it off! | |

Posted: 11/27/2008 11:16:51 PM | I've been in the position of "the jerk" once in my life (didn't result in intimacy, because she quickly discovered the *real* me). I didn't enjoy it at all and wondered how the real jerks can enjoy it let alone the women who become their conquests.
Given the way most women are, if you just want sex you might as well visit hookers. That's what I do.
Instead of roaming around bars and clubs, putting up with irritating music and competing with alpha males, I just pay a whore $150 or whatever, get what I want, and then leave.
I get everything the jerk gets for a little more money and a *lot* less worry.
And I have a clean conscience because no one can *ever* accuse me of breaking a girl's heart. | |

Unfortunately, a "nice", sensitive, wimpy type of guy does not generate those feelings in women. A strong, dominant, hard-to-get! man DOES. And the jerk fits in this category. And the jerk knows how to "ignite" those intense feelings and emotions women are addicted to. A jerk and a hard-to-get man make her feel ... feel...feel ... crazy, excited, turned on. A "nice" guy makes her feel ... feel ... feel .... bored to death.
i think the article has more or less nailed it in terms of explaining the pathetic phenomenon. still, it all boils down to the unescapable fact that it takes an incredibly STUPID woman to be attracted to a JERK. i've never been treated that way, and i've never had anyone even try it. i have no respect for stupid. so let the stupid women and the jerks have at each other then. let them f#ck each other all over the planet like minks in heat. as long as they stay the hell away from me, what do i care. | |
