My pet peeve of late is people who use the forums as their personal flirting zone and don't deal with the topic the thread started with... Maybe in one or two threads this would be OK, but does it really have to be in all the recent ones?

My latest pet peave involves pushy rude people, people who cut others off in traffic park in handicap spots. Worse human being I ever met was recently and my only regret is not putting her out of my house sooner.

But all and all very little bugs me

rjacobs - I like beer. I hear you know a Chinese place which has Asahi - so long as you don't chew with your mouth open, you're in.

Yes you should see someone about that having been married that opinion bites, Loved my ex wife and still do she was one of my best friends when I married her and would be with her today if she hadn't slept around so much. I went though heck trying to hold that marrage together lost alot of my self. So lady might want to get the full storey before you judge people.

New pet peave for the week judgemental peoples.

Here, here on using the threads as your personal flirting zone. That's how threads get locked.

people who think they are better than you, people who judge others to an extreme, the expression that "nobody can hurt you unless you let them." when gas prices go up instead of down, when people think about only themself etc etc

Today's pet peeve: This is one is directed at myself -- Not being able to find the right words to support a friend. I hate when that happens. Hell, I'm an English teacher for crying outloud, I should be able to find the right words when I need them.

My pet peeve is party poopers who put "rules" on everything! (i.e. forum posting) Isn't this forum a good way to get to know people? So yes, it may turn into off topic chatting at times and flirting...isn't that all part of the success of this site? People connecting? Sheesh!

NO! No one is to connect through this site ... we are to forever remain sitting at our computers and chatting to people ... never to meet in real life ... eventualy we will merge with the computer and become on organism and that will be it!

My pet peve is people who say one thing and either think, or tell other people something different.

Just think how much simpler life would be if every one had a little lie detecter attached to them selfs, and every time they lied, they would get a little shock.

@ Paige: Yes, I'm a bit upset in that I have a friend who is hurting and I can't find the right things to say. I'm a pretty caring person and it just hurts when I can't be helpful to people who have been helpful to me. Thanks for noticing Paige. I always read your posts and threads.

I just joined but wow. What amazing venom! Where does all that hate come from. As a divorced man, with kids full time, a excellent job and having my act together I must say I would never ever date such a trite bundle of joy. I have never seen anyone lacking the emotional and moral fibre to date anyone, let alone a single 40 year old man who has never been married, shacked up or committed. Besides priests, are there any? I have 2 friends who are but they would never bother with your likes. Mother should not have unlocked the door of that closet, as it is far to late for you to successfully socialize in a post modern civilized society

^^^Hey, Paige, I think that qualifies as a pet peeve. I did respond to your earlier comment about my earlier post. I really did appreciate that you noticed I was upset. I love my friends, and I hate when I can't help them out.

OT: New Pet Peeve for today: People who pull over to the right at an intersection to make a lefthand turn. I guess they really don't want anyone to move until they can turn

I can't stand the packaging on DVD movies. Is is really necessary to have a sticker on each side of the DVD case after the DVD is already shrinkwrapped? Same goes for CD's. I have opened countless CD's and DVD's and it doesn't get any easier!

mine would have to be:

Fur boots
slow moving cars
people who drive around with their gas door open
kleenex boxes in the back windows of cars..lol
finding something crunchy in food that isn't supposed to be crunchy

I have more..but maybe it would be easier to list the things that I don't have a problem with...lol
