OK.. I'm going to ONLY comment on the people who are talking about what we're supposed to be talking about. This is getting out of hand... GIVING opinions and PUSHING opinions are two completely different things.

That lady expressed her opinion and that was all, which is how it should have been.
As far as PUSHING... I think alot of us would disagree.. .if you weren't pushing your thoughts/idea/opinions on us then you wouldn't keep arguing YOUR point... I'm too tired tonight to really argue about any of this...

| Are pets as important as people? Posted: 1/5/2006 1:26:17 AM | Hi just reading some of the posts on here. Before anyone jumps on me for arguing just let me stat that I am not. WWF stands for World Wildlife Federation...seeing as we are talking about animals, but there are some animals in the WWE as well I have two children and 1 cat and 1 dog, I love my pets, but do I love them more then my kids likely not, same goes for other members in my family. If I had to choose to save my kids or save my pets from danger, the kids would win without a second thought. I did choose a bf over a pet once, bad choice because I got ride of the bf a couple weeks after the pet, so I don't think that I would be willing to part with a pet for sake of a mate. It is true that pets love unconditionally and it is a wonderful feeling when you come home from a rough day at work and your pets meets you with its tail wagging. But its an ever greater feeling when your child thanks you for just being there. I can't speak for people who don't have children, because I am sure they love their pets as if they were kids to them.
Take Care all

| Are pets as important as people? Posted: 1/5/2006 3:59:09 AM | do people care about their pets more then their spouse or children?
As I believe our children are the most important beings on earth, I would have to say no, pets are not as important as people. On the other hand, I think my dog is a whole lot more important than the fool who was kicking in the window next door last night.
