I can rarely walk past the perfume counter at the Bay without stopping for a quick "test" of something!

I like that it is not an overpowering scent. A light spray and you're good to go. In fact unless someone gets close it almost goes unnoticed. But my experience has been that when someone gets within hugging range they find it to be a very very pleasing scent. :-)))
Might just have to give Krakkar Noir a try though... seems to be leading the polls on this thread.
On a woman... well my personal preference lays more towards spice than sugar. Flowery perfumes bring back memories of my late great aunt. She was a good woman but I'd like not to be reminded of deceased relatives while sharing an intimate moment.

| Cologne and Perfume Preferences?!? Posted: 8/22/2006 2:49:26 PM | i wear Chanel Allure currently, but I also love Coco Chanel, and Stella, and the newest Donna Karan (I forget what it's called)
as for on a guy, whatever smells good on him. fragrances work differently on every man. it's all about chemistry baby!

| Cologne and Perfume Preferences?!? Posted: 8/22/2006 2:59:24 PM | Chanel No 5 for me, always. I loved the scent of Halstons on a guy. Most recently have found that Kenneth Cole Black is tempting :) | |

Posted: 11/6/2006 6:00:10 PM | For me it's most of the Estee Lauder lines- Tuscany,Dazzling Gold or Silver,Beyond Paradise,Beautiful but also love Chanel #5, Liz by Liz Claiborne,Dune and Fendi for the fall. Okay,so I'm a perfume collector. On a man,Drakkar,Catalyst,Obsession as long as they don't marinate in it.

| Cologne and Perfume Preferences?!? Posted: 11/6/2006 6:17:57 PM | I've worn Obsession for women ever since the first day it came out...I was a mere child!..lol. It has taken me all this time to find another perfume I've fallen inlove with. Wouldn't you know, it's another Calvin Klein perfume - Euphoria. I have had soooo many comments on both scents from both men and women, all of them good. Now I have a new problem...which one do I wear?..hmmmmmmmmm
As for men's scents, I suppose it depends on the man and how the scent reacts to his chemistry. I use to work with a man that wore Eternity and he would always aim his fan towards me so I could smell him all day long. MAN did I have a hard time concentrating ..lol.

| Cologne and Perfume Preferences?!? Posted: 11/6/2006 6:24:57 PM | I took a look at my selections ....
Any woman brave enough to go on a date has the option of
Givenchy Pi <<< 1st preferance to wear Armani GIO (I need to get more) Drakkar Noir Sung for Men
I haven't given much thought to what I like to smell on a woman. Obsession used to catch my attention as well as Hugo Boss for women back years and years ago.... I'll have to start asking when I notice something I like.
|
| Cologne and Perfume Preferences?!? Posted: 11/6/2006 6:40:14 PM | my favorite perfume is Calvin Klien Escape or Eternity
My favorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrite cologne would be Calvin Klien Eternity for men, I get all wound up when ever I smell it on men
|
| Cologne and Perfume Preferences?!? Posted: 11/6/2006 7:33:13 PM | For me personally my favorite female cologne is Lovely by Sara Jessica Parker, I find it to be a very feminine scent, as for men's cologne, the one that makes me all weak in the knees is Obsession for men, mmmmmmmm, drives me nuts when I smell it, lol
**note** the best new fragrance is by Jean Paul Gautier, there is one for males and one for females, that compliment each other and the bottles are magnetized and stick together, it's awesome, you gotta try it!!
|
| Cologne and Perfume Preferences?!? Posted: 11/6/2006 10:42:06 PM | HAPPY by Clinique,FANTASY by Britney Spears,HAPPY HEART by Clinique and SIMPLY by Clinique are my fav's.
But, if women really want to grab a guy's attention, they have to come up with a perfume that smells like pizza and beer.

| Cologne and Perfume Preferences?!? Posted: 11/7/2006 4:14:42 PM | Depending on my mood I wear:
Alfred Sung: Hei Drakkar Noir Preferred Stock
I like the first because it is not as powerful as the other 2, yet it is more pervasive, in a gentle way. Honestly the other 2 I have been wearing as long as I can remember, I just like the way they smell.....
I honestly do not have a preference in terms of what a woman wears, as long as it is not overpowering. Nothing worse than choking on the perfume/cologne someone a hundred yards away is wearing.
