Posted: 1/5/2005 3:14:26 PM | I am 49, I lived with a women 14 years yunger for seven years, she was a real hottie and her kids were babies when we met, it was like any other relationship, ups n downs, SEXXX!!
BUT, when she got older( i was 35,she 21).......when she got older, she got an attitude, wanted to be independent and all that. So, she started ****in all these guys her age and YUNGER! all i wanted was to be together, raise kids etc, but she wanted her lost time back. I think THAT is what happens MOST times in those situations, The GUY loses, cuz he gave everything to be forever, and she was just wanting security til she MATURED, Just my opinion tho!! I LOVED her, and still do! It kinda ruined me for women my age!

Posted: 5/29/2006 10:01:46 PM | I don't really care how old a girl is. But women definitely seem to prefer older guys. So I usually end up dating younger girls by default. I also don't want to date a girl that might run off to an older man. That's what happened with my ex-wife. She ran off with a guy 8 years older than me. It wasn't because I didn't have my shit together. I did. I was making over $5,000 a month which is pretty good at 23. But for some reason she just found the older man more attractive. Oh well, 23 (24 now) is too young to be tied down anyway, right?
Looking at what I said, I guess I do have a preference. But it's only because women seem to have a preference, and not something intrinsic to what I find attractive. | |

I have much more in common with the man I am with now. The levels are much higher and so is the understanding. He is twelve years older than me and I couldn't care if he was even more.

Add in the fact most women my age already have a family and aren't looking for more I'm pigeon-holed into dating someone younger.

I had a date with a 58 year old man (I am 53), his prime activity in life was cataloguing his CD collection and watching reruns of Northern Exposure.
Maybe we should judge people for WHO they are, not stereotype by age.

The entire thing revolves around the purpose and intent..if some older guy just goes for sex with the younger woman ...then its all for naught and what can come of it but trouble ??
On the other hand if a true personality relationship comes out of it , and the gentleman is of good character a wonderful time may follow...
people say "she wont be there for you when you get too old "!! big deal as it goes these days most women /wives, wont be there either ..so whats the problem...why loose a wonderful relation ship just because some one at church says it isnt right....
