Get off your behind, and approach tall women. I do it. I love it when it bugs them too.
This girlfriend of mine is 5'9, my height, and tells me long stories about how she doesn't like tall men. Thats a bunch of @$$ dust coming from most women until they get to know me.
And let me tell you something ladies, feeling safe has nothing to do with tall or short men. Its not the size of the dog, its the size of the bite. HAHAHAHA.
Its like me saying, I feel loved when I am with a taller woman. What a stupid thing to say. I love when some women just say the stupidest things on these forums.
I personally love tall women. No offense tiny ladies, but in my experience, little short women are louder, more obnoxious, less collected, more demanding, and their personalities always seem to be jumping up begging for more attention.
Thats just my experience, don't get all Cat like on me now, MEOWW!!
Short men are pretty much the same like Joe Peshi (is that how its spelled?) unless they have a "I dont want to be seen or heard" personality. Hahaha.
Tall women on the other hand are a bit more graceful, and if not, atleast they can fake it until I call their bluff.
I was buying groceries at this store today, and as I opened the door and was getting out, this tiny little dude just darted past me. He was in a real rush to get in. I found that hilarious.
Being in the military, I've seen some pretty tiny guys do some pretty hardcore stuff, while the big guys just looked like huge "shoot me first will ya? I can be seen from space next to the great wall of China" meatshield looks.
I am generalizing. So if I said something and you think its directed at you, email me, I wont respond to anything else.
Again no offense to ANYONE, just dont take it upon yourself, its just in my own experience. I dont discriminate and I'll pick personality over height any day. | |

On a personal level I can tell you that I am SIX FEET tall and I have had 2 romances that lasted for about a year each, one with a 5'4 guy and the other with a 5'6 guy. Yep....ok...stop laughing!! It did look awkward, but with 5'6 guy we had so much fun together we couldn't care less how we looked. 5'4 guy was uncomfortable with it and that did make it much more of an issue. To me that proves ATTITUDE is so important in life. Anyway, to be honest when we were out together I did sort of feel like they were my children...my kids with facial hair. Ah, the whole thing was a bit weird, but I gotta say...and this is NOT a scientific study with a truly random sample...but...best sex ever was with a SHORT guy! Ok enough of that....in my dream of dreams I do prefer a man to be just 1-2 inches shorter than me all the way up to 6'6 (he was a nice comfortable size man to be with). As much as I liked the short guys, by the end I was just ready to scream, "I WANT A LIFE SIZE MAN!!" | |

I mean, I am a guy who is 6'7" tall, and usually the tallest wherever I go, and I've usually (but not always) found that women seem put off by it. I've been out with women from 5'4" to 6'2" and myself, I've never minded whatever the height difference, but quite a few women have turned me down because I am "too tall for their liking". The only woman I went out with who loved my hieght was 6'2" herself.

Posted: 7/20/2006 6:39:31 AM | I'm 6'1" and tend to find shorter guys more attractive. Growing up, I was insecure about being tall, especially in high school. Sometimes I worry that I'm not feminine enough when I'm bigger than the guy I'm out with.
But when a shorter guy takes a strong interest in me, treats me like a lady, and shows no insecurity about the height difference - well, nothing makes me feel more attractive. He's willing to go against the "norm" of being the taller one in the relationship; that really makes me feel feminine, attractive, and valued. | |

Also, even if she does prefer a taller man, I still believe you can have an awesome relationship with a taller woman and vice versa. My old best friend is 5'7" and his wife is 5'11" and they're happily married.
I believe that initially a woman wants a taller man just as much as a man wants a shorter woman. But at the same time I strongly believe chemistry outweighs height. It just depends on how important height is to a person. Some people might have height extremely important just as much as others have nose shape extremely important. But at the same time, I believe people overlook height because a wonderful relationship can still be established with great attraction.
I have read success stories on other dating sites about a woman finding a special man who didnt fit her criteria initially, but she just foudn him to be amazing. Chemistry is something very special, and for those who believe in soulmates; Finding your soulmate can by far outweigh certain criteria.

Posted: 7/20/2006 10:50:09 AM | The reason I prefer taller men is because they make me feel safe. there are a few men who are shorter then me who can make me feel as safe. but, i met a man who was 5'2" (i'm 5'7") who made me feel as afe as i would with a man 6'5".
also it's nice to have guys who are taller to get to high places. it's a perk
but if a guy is shorter then me he has to work twice as hard to make a girl feel safe | |
