Posted: 2/15/2008 4:25:28 PM | Good for Jr and his wins, but they dont count for points toward the chase, those are non point races that he won. Jr hasn't won a point race since the Crown Royal 400 at Richmond on May 6, 2006. I think he is looking forward to winning a point race and i think he will make the chase, but Jimmie Johnson is going to win the Cup again.

His car looks really good in practice and in the 150s. But I don't see him winning the championship this year either. Although we I can always dream.  | |

Posted: 2/17/2008 7:59:30 PM | Well....Tony Eury Jr lost that race for Junior. He didn't have him pit when the others did and got hung out there on old rubber. His team mates all were wrecked also. He did well but had some troubles here and there including a vibration that was tire related. I am still proud of him and he will still go on to win more races. The Toyotas look real strong and Pesky Pensky slid in for the win today!!  | |

Posted: 2/18/2008 6:24:58 AM | I did not agree at all with keeping Jr out there. 19 laps to go, and they didn't pit with everyone else. Had there not been so much radio scrambling or whatever was the excuse Eury told Jr when he kept asking if he should pit, that could have made a difference, but we'll never know.
Still, I think it's going to be a good season for Jr. | |
