I knew Mike and Spike many years ago. When they would present their Festival of Animation here locally, they'd come to my office and splice all of their films together on my 16mm cleaning machine. Sadly, there is only one of them now.

How I miss Ren & Stimpy . . . At least Adult Swim offers eclectic toons - Aqua Teen Hunger Force is a riot. Futurama and Family Guy rank right up there on my favorites. I agree, The Simpsons have become blase.

I like lots of different cartoons...

-Anime of all types, I'd highly reccomend Berserk, Full Metal Alchemist, Slayers, Chinese Ghost Story, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and oddly Azumanga Daioh.
-Thundar the Barbarian, Dungeons & Dragons, He-Man
-Transformers (original), G.I.JOE (pre cobra-la crap), Voltron
-Reboot, what was on TV was kinda cheesy but likeable, but if you get the other seasons on DVD it suddenly becomes dark and bada$$.
-Venture Brothers, Teen Titans, Dexter's Lab
-Tom and Jerry when it wasn't one of those weird abstract ones, Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons
-Underdog and Rocky & Bullwinkle, I can't believe nobody mentioned these yet.
-Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park (any show that occasionally even offends me is worth watching in my book), American Dad, and Futurama
-Disney movies, Shreck, Toy Story
