However, given the positive feedback, emails, and women making first contact (for a change)I think its worth being seen as a 'naked ape'. Is it necessary ... if it gets my ad read =Sure.
Women love beautiful men and vice versa ... since most POF women you will likely not meet, I see no harm. I mono-colour because it is more artistic and aesthetically pleasing. Besides
Women market in this way most everyday ... not all but most. And since I can't utilize makeup, nail polish, eye liner, lipstick, high heels, (except on special occassions LOL JK)etc. ... I consider it fair. Profiles are take time to interpret over several readings (depending on the author's proficiency) ... self-portraits appeal to the basic instinct (either "I want to know more" or just "no").
To a lesser degree, I'm also displaying my own photo-editing/graphic art hobby since since I wish to meet young women of the same ilk. | |

Posted: 1/12/2006 3:15:53 AM | Oh god. When I was swimming in Australia in competitive training, I had to keep my clothes on. Women would want to take them off. So I never went shirtless, it was just too much hassle to much attention.
I'd reather just get along with life than getting bogged down with women who want my body, when I was 22 and now when I'm 43, it's the same. It's just genetics and years of heavy training.
Guys who pose shirtless are just idiots. I mean they are brain dead. Really. | |

Now you get blasted for being honest. To tell you the truth, it is a big effort for me to expose myself like this. On vacation, when I get up from the pool, the first thing I do is put on a T-Shirt (wise crack opportunity). I am very modest and insecure and it is a big effort for me to even wash the car in my own driveway without a shirt on because I don't want people staring at my gut. Now I put up a photo without a shirt on and I'm gonna get hammered for it. Hey, I know, let's make this a beauty pagaent where you have to wear evening attire, a swimsuit, perform a stupid trick, and ask a dumb question. Oh yeah great, that's what I want to see, dude's in speedos. That's a no-go no matter what your body-type is...done ranting. | |

It was a career. Just put on a shirt. Girls can see what body you got even with a shirt on.
Pure swimmers have more body fat and are smoother when not flexing.
Cyclists have no arms, they look like little Tyranosorus rex's (sp)
