| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/11/2004 3:42:53 PM | | I don't have any nudes posted or anything that I would say is even racey, but I don't have a problem with those who do.. and I don't necessarily feel that those who post chest shots are insecure or looking for a "specific type of attention". For some they have worked hard to look a certain way, and won't to show it off. Ever known anyone who took of a ton of weight and start dressing more provocatively after?? | |

| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/11/2004 5:56:35 PM | | i will never understand ppl who judge others ....if its something you wouldn't do, just don't do it...but why do you care about what someone else likes to do?....but that is what the posts are for, isn't it...to get your voice out? to each his/her own.... (sexy is a part of life though) | |

| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/12/2004 5:21:27 AM | Wanderingspirit, I got that tat 2 GFs and a wife ago.
That's about 12 or 14 years ago. I thought about having a back leg rip out of my side and the tail rip out of my thigh and wrap around my leg but never got around to it.

| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/12/2004 10:18:50 AM | | When i go to the beach I don't wear my shirt. When i cut grass i don't always wear a shirt. When I am at the beach i luv seeing the women in their bikini's. So now why is this such a big deal? | |
|
| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/12/2004 1:39:04 PM | | it's just stupid for a main profile photo. *rolls eyes* you don't need to agree with me - i'm voicing my opinion & it really doesn't matter if you feel the same or not. sheesh. | |
|
| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/12/2004 1:43:05 PM | | no it doesn't whitebirch.. and if you make a post then others are allowed to voice theres as well, thats the whole point | |
|
| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/12/2004 2:08:49 PM | exactly, hb - but there was the comment above "So now why is this such a big deal?" when it wasn't such a big deal - it was just a THREAD.
i know there's others who agree with me - especially when they look at certain pictures - but the last half of the comments have been of the "this is a public beach" strain. i think it's funny actually. if people wanta act like they're doing some type of underwear ad, who am i to rain on their parade? especially if that's the main thing they got going for them. *smirks*

| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/12/2004 2:31:37 PM | Heres my thought.. I constantly hear things like "get to know someone for their inner beauty" before they judge them (basically.. don't base your opinion on looks alone) in this forum.. I am a firm believer of this.. but what surprises me is those that base an opinion because someone is attractive or has a nice body or shows their chest.. Calling someone shallow, or implying that they have nothing else to offer is no different then saying someone is ugly based solely on their photograph without getting to know them. Why does it seem more important to get to know the personality of someone who is maybe not physically appealing over someone who is? ie. (gonna use Hefty cuz he posted here) is an intelligent, genuine and funny individual. The fact that he has great abs and shows them should not discount his personality or what he has to offer as a person | |
|
| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/12/2004 2:41:41 PM | some do have not a lot else to offer - that's obvious.
but how you make your choices of who to get to know or who to have an interest in is your business.
i never said that anyone who posts a shirtless photo has nothing else to offer, but i guess what got me going on this in the first place was a photo i just found creepy. i'm not saying that to hurt anyone's feelings - but it just got me thinking about the whole issue. someone mentioned they wanted to show off their tattoo(s) which is a totally different thing altogether.
i have a niece who's a bit of an exhibitionist - all the shirts she'd wear would have her boobs sticking half out. when a friend asked another friend of ours (a bartender at a bar we'd stop at) what he thought of her, he said she appeared "semi-loose" or something like that. we all advertise who we are in visual ways. that's why i made the point that the person who does post photos like that will get the type of attention they're looking for. it may not be very deep or very sincere - but it'll be what they want. that's fine.
as i said before - to each his own.

| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/13/2004 1:19:27 AM | god, i hate to do this....but i just can't help myself....
seems like you're hen pecking a lil...and pretty soon, ppl might mistake your screen name for something else....
if someone shows themself in a certain light...attractive or less, perhaps they want to be accepted or appreciated in the same manner that they accept, and appreciate themself.
you can love the skin you're in, and still be respected by ppl in here--whether you're cute or not. as well, you can think in any manner possible, without hurting and embarrassing others. that might be the point right there, not to hurt and embarrass each other.
besides....how can anyone get to be on that 500 hottest list, if they aren't gonna be hott? ok...trumpeting over you can be cute...you can be smart...you can be funny... you can be a teacher...you can be a preacher...you can love each other...its all ok

| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/13/2004 11:31:36 AM | Damn Where is my a** picture when i need it. My big full moon staring you all right in the face.. IF YOU DONT LIKE IT YOU DONT HAVE TO LOOK AT IT. Some people have nothing to offer but a nice body, and good for them they can come on here and find other people who have nothing more to offer but a nice body, then there are the others who like to feel sexy, and are healthy and want the same in a mate.. | |
|
| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/13/2004 12:16:37 PM | alright i have a shirtless pic.... i dont have a six pack (rather a little of a belly)... no muscles.... not a great tan.... not offering my body...... not looking for compliments or other attention..... not to show off my tattoo....... why is it there? because its a pic i have and in the summer its a likely way to see me. not proud of my manly body, lol, nor am i ashamed....take me for me or cry to a guy in a sweater. | |
|
| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/13/2004 2:33:46 PM | 1.) Ktowngirl......you do NOT look 50........ *sigh* .......why does Ktown have to be SO far away????
2.) yna6.....nakes shoulders....not the same they were asking about. at least the rest of your pics aren't nekked! Anyone tell you that you look like that actor .... ummmmmm ..... the captain of the american sub in Red October.......can't remember his name....
3.) Boob shots. What is UP with that? Why do some women feel the need to post cleavage shots? I can't say anything about guy photos, I'm only looking at the gUrLs

| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/13/2004 3:47:33 PM | | WB: Sorry to hear that you view me as shallow and stupid. I was just stating my opinion that we condemn one thing yet it is totally acceptable in other situations. If a woman was on here in her swim wear or underwear it still reveals the same. If she has a nice body I admire her discipline to become fit. I will be sure not to send you a pic with my shirt off if you promise not to send the picture of your cat. I am allergic to cats unless it is Holly's outfit with her in it. Personality is most important to keeping friendships or relationships thriving and is very high on my list but it is physical attraction that catches our eyes to want to get to know the other person. I do understand nudity does offend and don't think this site is the place for that and should be shared privately with two consenting adults. But if what a person shows is something we see in everyday life anyway such as t.v, the gym, a pageant, the beach, or your neighbor cutting grass then why should it be offensive on here? I do not see a bare chest or someone in swimwear as nudity. Honey, I know you mean well and respect your convictions but you are going to have a hard time in this society unless you just look away. But if you ever see me in society with my shirt off and ask me to put it on I will. Just because you are so adorable. | |

| male shirtless photos Posted: 12/14/2004 12:10:30 PM | | This is a dating site and if people feel the need to put their best foot/chest forward to draw attention then i think they are using good common sense. You have to advertise yourself for someone to buy so why not put a nice eye-popping ad up to initialize immediate attention. | |

like i said, you'll attract what you want.
it's obvious what you want, so why get defensive?
no need to answer.... | |
