When the looks fade, at least he's still going to keep a smile on your face. As for the OP, asking for a picture does not automatically mean she wants to see if you're drop dead gorgeous or not. In my case, I want to see the man's eyes. The eyes tell me the whole story of who you are. They are the windows to the soul. Besides, I don't want any surprises when and IF I meet someone. I don't want to go into it totally blind....been there, done that a few times already and there does have to be a little bit of physical chemistry don't you think? Afterall, you've seen my picture, it's only fair I see your's.
As for men looking for funny women, I'm not sure some men really care. I am told everyday from both men and women I am toooooo funny and make everyone feel good with my sense of humour. SO....why am I still single?....lol  | |

Sexy isn't just about looks. Once you get passed the superficial, a lot of things can be sexy. The way a certain word is said or the way they deal with other people. Vanity only lasts so long for most people. Everyone loses their looks, except Goldie Hawn. :) | |

Exactly!
Although I do not require a 'good looking guy', there are some physical traits about a guy that will automatically turn me off.
The guy has to be attractive to me.
And yes, I will take an average looking guy who can make me laugh over a hunk who is too serious and boring. Been there, done that...never again!

There is no guarantee's with anyone, humor helps but so do lots of other variables
He could be make you pee laughing, lack intelligence, common sense & a host of other stuff
so does that make him a great fish in the pan? Nope the best man is a humble man with common sense that tries his best everyday to have the best he can, he makes you Feel important & you never doubt him or his intentions, he's honest and most of all just himself!

Posted: 7/3/2007 7:00:30 AM | Everyone has a different idea of whats funny or sexy. I've dated a guy who "thought" was funny. Turned out he thought funny meant tearing everyone around him apart. That's arrogant not funny. Making fun of yourself is one thing but don't "pick-on" others around you.
Sexy is again something in the eye of the beholder. What I find sexy on somebody will turn another off. My Sunday FWB has long hair. Last time we went out he was told should cut his hair short. My best friend met a guy here on POF. He's like a giant teddy bear. I like a guy with some hair on his chest but not covering his back too. See women like all different things.
I'm looking for:
1) man intelligent enough to carry a conversation that keeps my mind enthralled. Could be comedy or almost anything.
2) sexy, in my eyes...not one set thing seems to turn my crank. Been in 2 longterm
relationships and they were night/day. One people thought was a cop other a "badboy" appearance.
3) sexdrive...important must have one and closely match mine. Spent 10yrs in a very vanilla relationship. Not happening again.
Person I ultimately decide on having another longterm relationship will have all 3 things above. Until find Mr. Right will enjoy life and what it has to offer.

if a man has wit - he's for me.
anyone can be "funny" but the knowledge to back up the humour is what truly makes a man sexy in my opinion.
side note: a nice tushy and arms of the gods never hurt no one either!

Without the ability to laugh like a 3 yr old everyday, life is just too damn hard!

Anyone, and I mean ANYONE can have a body to make the other sex sweat bullets, but that is just a nice bonus to what is a REAL turn-on!
