Posted: 3/11/2005 9:29:30 PM | @ Jane. It is more sensative because the head of the penis is covered/protected all the time. Imagine your clothing rubbing directly on your clitoris all the time, it would get very dry and used to the friction, therefore less sensative.

I've heard stories from women who've experienced cut and uncut.. they say uncut is more fun cause he writhes in pleasure easier where as cut takes a lot more work. Can YOU say.. less lockjaw? :p

Investigators found that circumcision removes about one-half of the erogenous tissue on the penile shaft. The foreskin, according to the study, protects the head of the penis and is comprised of unique zones with several kinds of specialized nerves that are important to optimum sexual sensitivity.

As long as the guy washes underneath the foreskin each time he showers (as long as he showers regularly) it is ok.
Circumcision was basically used in arid countries (before the invention of soap and lack of access to clean water) so that guys wouldn't get infected. They also cut off sheep tails for the same reason, yes sheep do have long tails.
Now that most of us have access to a shower circumcision is no longer necessary unless the skin is too tight.
Circumcision is now banned in Australian hospitals and only really done by Muslims and Jews because their religion doesn't change with the times.
Religion can be blamed for a lot when it doesn't change with the times.
e.g. Pork in the middle east two centuries ago was unfit for human consumption so they put it in their religion not to eat it to stop people getting sick or die from it. Somebody forgot to remove that part from the scripture when the quality of pork improved, same with circumcisions. But let's not get started on religion in a sex forum.
