Posted: 11/21/2006 7:25:05 PM | While its not "set in stone" ya, I believe in some of the horoscope stuff.. It seems all my life I am usually drawn to people over and over of the same "sign" (usually cancers or Libras for some reason).. On the other side of the coin, if I meet someone and take an instant dislike to them, they usually are either a capricorn or a Gemini! lol

Everyday their plans are different and after saying all that I have to say they are nice and they are charming but forget about actually planning a future with one. I won't even respond to a pisces if they message me no matter how good looking or how nice he seems to be. If you decide to go for it , put on your seatbelt . Posted: 11/23/2006 11:58:42 AM | Checking out and reading about another person's sign is something I do for sure...maybe it's a "girl thing" I dunno. I don't think too much about it, but I can definately TELL what sign a guy is by his personality. I believe it definately has something to do with it.
I sure as hell know I'm not compatible with Sagittarius because I'm a leo, leo's are more loyal. I tend to be attracted by Cancer's though as they seem to have strong family values...love their moms.
My best friend, since I was 3, and my mom are both Aries...another sign that I get along with probably the best. | |

As the universe continues to expand, and the stars move farther and farther away from each other, eventually the constellations will no longer be recognizeable as such. The best part of this scientific fact is that, in relation to the Earth's seasons and rotation, the constellations have moved! So, astrologists call me a Taurus (May 16th), but if you pull a star chart from my actual birth, I'm a Gemini. The world has moved on (literally) since the advent of this pseudoscience. | |

I can share...that the most intense intimate experiences I have EVER had were with an Aries partner...so from that standpoint an Aries/Aries combo is ... spontaneous combustion at its finest. (got 911 on speed dial...woo hoo)

Even if a complete birth chart is prepared by an accredited astrologer, the point of astrology is: "the universe plays the music, you dance to the tune".
Like any tool that measures tendancies a birth chart is not static. | |

On this note I feel I must mention that far too many people are under the presumption that they're lead by their Sun Sign (this is that vague description of a sign you read in newspapers and magazines), however there are far more Signs, Planets, Houses, and Aspects that make up the individual Astrological Profile. For example, my Rising Sign (aka Ascendant) is Scorpio, my Sun is in Leo, my Moon is in Leo, my Mercury is also in Leo, Mars is in Virgo, and Venus is in Cancer (I don't remember the houses off hand).

Posted: 1/4/2007 1:23:17 PM | Compatibility between the signs doesn't mean all that much to me. I firmly believe that if two people get together and decide to work things out, it can be done.
With that being said... I'm a Cancer. I'm supposed to be most compatible with Scorpios or Pisces. I've dated a Scorpio and I can say fantastic things about her. On the other hand, she had personal problems that I just couldn't deal with. I'd like to date a Pisces sometime, just to see how that goes.
I'm currently building a long distance relationship with a Virgo. Virgos apparently need lots of reassurance in a relationship. That's something that's kind of difficult to do from a distance but we both seem to be patient people. I'm kinda driving her nuts by being a typical Cancer and analyzing things all the time. I'm really enjoying getting to know her anyway.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that Zodiac signs should not be the be all and end all in regards to choosing a mate. However, if you understand the characteristics of your SO's sign and your own, you can make allowances for certain behaviours that would otherwise drive you nuts. You can also play into their strengths better. | |

But then the incompatabilities start to get in the way - Capricorns are too obsessed with money for one thing. They are also very practical. Being a Pisces that is in reality what I need someone practical, right????? Then why does the relationship always end up a drudge, and all about work - another thing Caps are obsessed with. My right match would probably be a Cancer but I haven't been able to find one. The Cancers I have known I do get along very well with. I know that reads like an intemperate opinion, burt I think you can convince yourself it's a lot of booshwah.
Read another sign's horoscope for a few weeks, instead of yours. (Don't read yours.) It'll make just as much sense as "yours" ever did.
Also, astrology is so very old, it hails from a time when people could only conceive of a universe that was about them, a universe that revolved around them. "Naturally," "god" put them at its center. The transit of the night sky supported that assumption, and astrology was built on it.
Now, however, we know the universe has no center, that we are on a small planet circling a small star on the fringe of an unremarkable galaxy, and that there are billions more galaxies of many kinds in a limitless universe. What's more, the hundreds of millions of years of life on this planet are the merest blip in the life of the universe. It was all there for billions of years before our sun even formed, and it will be there for billions of years after our sun goes out. It's laughable to suggest that the stars are about us.

No the Zodiac sign does not matter! Logically, people who think that, should still believe in the Easter bunny… The time you were born during a year, has no effect on your personality or persona what so ever, only you do!
So ask your self this question, if someone were to remove a planet, or destroy a constellation from one of the said “Zodiac signs” … take Scorpios for instance people born from October24 to November 22, their ruling planet is Pluto… If the signs were true, “lets say some mad scientist decides to send a missile to, and successfully does destroy the planet Pluto. That means it would obliterate 1/12 the population of the world, because 12 the population of the world is ruled by the planet Pluto”
Seems like a good way to deal with population control... If it were true. But its not!!!
So it seems to me, it would be a good business adventure to become an astrologer. I have been toying around with this idea for quite some time, along with professional begging. Do to the simple fact you write a couple of paragraphs with creative writing, make them semi vague so they apply to every one, and you cant be wrong, “Walla, your astrologer.”

I don't believe that the daily horoscopes are very accurate. I do believe there could be something to how your zodiac sign influences your personality. Yes, every person is an individual. Nobody is stuck with one of 12 personalities. I do find however, that the signs give rather accurate descriptions of certain personality traits common to people of their particular signs.
I don't believe that the Zodiac is the be all and end all in selecting a particular mate. It's only a guide. Some people choose to use different sources to guide them. That's just fine. | |

The planets and how the angles the planets make to each other at birth - hence the pattern- the good, bad or ugly, is the pattern you manifest in your life. Sorry but you have to also deal with the Sun Sign. However, you must understand that the other planets do modify and influence those intransigent characteristics. With reference to Einstein , the greater the mass, as well as the distance from earth, the greater the influence. What bothers me most is the closed minds that are prevalent on this planet today - politics, religion, ad infinitum... | |
