I find it interesting that you say you are a marine and privy to certain things. I am also curious and surprised that you would share any of your thoughts regarding military technology for the same reason. One point I would like to make is this... however evolved the military are, with their new designs, does not explain the acute turns at unimaginably breakneck speeds these craft are making...
Simply put, human beings could not survive those manoeuvring characteristics... How do you account for this?

| Have you ever actually seen a UFO? Posted: 11/6/2007 6:51:30 PM | Unmanned craft are free of the one restriction that limits normal aircraft.
Without all the additional weight needed in consideration for humans, and no concern for the effects of high speeds and low pressure on them , and the progress in remote technology - it would seem to be the next logical step.

Good point, they could well be unmanned craft like drones? Having said that, what drones need to fly at such high altitudes and make crazy u turns at incredible speeds?
And...
if these things are so secret why advertise themselves with lights in built-up areas?

Pilots to Tell Their UFO Stories for the First Time Group to call on US Government to Re-Open its Investigation. (PRWEB) November 7, 2007 -- The American public is not alone when it comes to sighting what the US Air Force has labeled Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). So too have former governors, high level military and government officials, highly trained airplane pilots and aviation experts. The phenomenon is real. It happens worldwide. No one is sure about its nature. Experts from seven countries will divulge what they have discovered about UFOs at a November 12 panel discussion moderated by former Arizona Governor Fife Symington (R) at the National Press Club (www.freedomofinfo.org). Just one year ago, pilots, mechanics and managers from United Airlines witnessed a metallic disc-shaped object hovering over the United Airlines Terminal at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. The clearly observed object shot straight up leaving a hole through the clouds. Despite the clear aviation safety issues involved, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) never investigated the incident and dismissed it as weather. This head-in-the-clouds refusal to investigate stands in sharp contrast to efforts by governments of other countries to understand these incidents. “I believe that our government should take an active role in investigating this very real phenomenon,” said Symington, who was a witness to the famed ‘Phoenix Lights” incident seen by hundreds in Arizona while he was governor. “This panel consists of some of the most qualified people in the world with direct experience in dealing with this issue, and they will bring incredible, irrefutable evidence, some never presented before, that we simply cannot dismiss or ignore,” he said. The group, using previously classified documents, will discuss many well-documented cases, including two investigated by the US government. The first involves a Peruvian Air Force pilot who fired many rounds at a UFO which was not affected. The second was an Iranian Air Force pilot’s attempt to fire at a UFO, but whose control panel became inoperable. “This case is a classic that meets all the necessary conditions for a legitimate study of the UFO phenomenon,” stated the US Defense Intelligence Agency document on the Tehran incident. Both pilots will come forward to speak about these events publicly for the first time.

if you had seen a UFO (that is to say something that defied all logic) would you put it down to demonic forces or believe this intelligent entity was extraterrestrial?
It's no wonder they don't make themselves known lol Anything we don't understand..demonic, anything we can't humanly control...demonic, anything more powerful.... In just this world there are so many religions and beliefs that don't constantly jump on the negativity bandwagon every time they see or experience something they don't understand. They take the time to investigate and document. Not judging it until they can really figure out whats going on... and it's worth figuring out. These ships that we see people taking videos of are not anything like what are able to make on earth yet. Did you see the swarm in Mexico this year? It's on youtube, I don't have the link. If they really were such horrible creatures you can bet that we wouldn't be here right now enjoying... err destroying this beautiful blue ball that we live on. ..sorry did *I* just say that *grin*

| Have you ever actually seen a UFO? Posted: 11/13/2007 6:13:43 PM | | Yes i saw one. I saw a trangle shaped ufo over my apartment building. Very low to the point you can see the metal and it made no sound and it was huge. I also quite a few as a child. Very amazing experience. I am a very skeptical person but there is no mistake on what i saw. No I am not a religious freak, or a ufo freak. | |

Hey you picked the right forum anyway. Delusions are delusions.
What's it like to be closed minded in an open minded world?
One person’s delusion is another's belief. Who are you to deny this belief?

He doesn't seem to care that contrary evidence is relevant and required to demonstrate some thing as delusional. He has no aversion to redefining terms. In other words, just because he calls some thing "delusional" that doesn't mean it is; fact is, his unconventional redefinition of the term makes it somewhat difficult to know what he's even talking about.

| Have you ever actually seen a UFO? Posted: 11/21/2007 5:02:41 AM | | I personally don't see what connection UFOs have to Christian belief. Perhaps around 5-10% of what people 'see' in terms of atmospheric phenomena does not seem to have a direct explanation, if my understanding of reading UFO reports was correct, but this was in line with the statistical measures used. | |

And, for those "Christians" who will no doubt blow a gasket at the thoughts of a "Christian" supporting such an idea, even Billy Graham himself believes in the possibility of UFO's, etc.
lol...being a Christian has nothing to do with it....either you've seen one or you haven't. As with everything else, don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see.
I am a born-again, washed in the blood of Jesus, kind of Christian and I have seen one. It was 27 years ago and even when I think of it now, it is still almost hard to believe, very amazing....very amazing!!

Would never deny someone thier belief. I consider some beliefs to be delusional thinking that's all. This is an example of one. Simple really.
In other words, just because he calls some thing "delusional" that doesn't mean it is;
Of course it doesn't. It's my opinion that such thoughts are delusional. It's a forum for crying out loud. Full of opinions. You actually read things here and take them as if they "mean it is"?
|
| Have you ever actually seen a UFO? Posted: 11/21/2007 4:48:32 PM | jrbogie as a pilot, if I'm not mistaken, wouldn't you consider a "delusional" aviator a somewhat risky profession? Yet, if you go back to Msg: 280 not only are they misconceiving the situation, but also the finest of our astronauts and those of Russia too. Add together many of the governments own personnel, including scientists all over the world, and there is an impressive dossier waiting to be analysed. Still think it's as simple a matter of "delusion"? Sorry to say that if the evidence of their eyes, recorded radar, photographic, video film, documentary evidence and personal testimonies don't set off any alarm bells, then maybe it's you who are delusional.
But don't just take my opinion here... see for yourself on the Disclosure Project.

| Have you ever actually seen a UFO? Posted: 11/22/2007 10:04:39 AM | From a previous post of mine.. thought I'd ask again since I think it is an intriguing question:
what if a ship with unlimited fuel went out into space with men and women aboard.. but it lost contact with earth and was gone so long that we wrote it off as MIA. Because of the no gravity environment.. their legs would atrophy after a couple of generations amongst other mutations.. they would evolve to suit their environment...
Now, they eventually find their way back to earth... what are they? Human or alien?? ;)

| Have you ever actually seen a UFO? Posted: 11/22/2007 10:32:15 AM | ^^^^^and I thought I already answered it to the best of my knowledge...sheesh...but here goes--they are a race in severe need of physical therapy.
they would evolve to suit their environment...
..or they would evolve different suits to fit their new bodily shapes. yuk yuk
|
| Have you ever actually seen a UFO? Posted: 11/22/2007 10:50:25 AM | | ^^^That wasn't the question... would they be considered alien?? Would we even allow them to explain or just start shooting/doling out restraints? Think about it..... | |

They would still be what we are, spiritual beings having evolved physically but never the less part of every other being in the universe...
The nature of humanity, as it is today, would not recognize this and in their ignorance, yes they would attack them.

I would say human for the most part. To say they're not is an insult wouldn't you think?
Like yeah--the elephant man syndrome strikes-- " I am not an animal!!"
