I don't think God would reveal that to us if there was because if there was a chance for an extra terestrial to exist, and have greater "powers" than us or be smarter, we would take ALL of our focus from God and think, wow, what the Bible says is wrong, but it's God's word and He says a number of times its true. its extremely hard to find but is a farely decent read
when i lived in maryland my neighbor was one of his followers and claimed that she has been abducted many times and well she believed it so much that it was hard to say that she haddent but one night we were out and she came running outside and told us to keep looking at the sky and i still dont know exactley what i saw but about 10 minutes later
we herd a sound not unlike a plane but still different, and there was what still kind of looked like a low flying plane but moving extremely slowand as it got above us it was more of a cilindrical shape and all of a sudden the front of the cilinder lit up like a flashlight
and kept going in the same direction but quicker.
thats my experience maby it was a ufo and maby it wasunt
but i have no earthly idea what it was | |

We, my then girlfriend and soon to be first wife, wouldn’t have known it was there at all if it hadn't lit up in the sky. The only way we could describe it was as a beam of radiant light directed at us. We observed it for a few seconds and it blinked out completely. That was in 1977, since then I've seen many different shapes and sizes of UFO's. I live in what's become known as a fairly hotspot area for them. Just as many are observed during the day as those at night. No explanations have ever come forward for those I have witnessed. | |

I'm going to reveal something here, only because I'm brave enough to face critics; while I was in New York City, last June, on a tour of the US and Canada, a strange thing was happening in the sky, my attention was drawn to it by other people pointing up and taking photographs, my camera was out of film but a friend had a digital so I asked him to photograph the event... the results of this can bee seen here:

I don't know what was making these images appear... nothing detectable could be seen, only the patterns... something I would relate to skywriting but without machines visible, or any sound. | |

If you are really interested, google The Disclosure Project, there is a free 2 hour download and although it was videoed a few years ago it will fill in many blanks, plus there are several updates to it on radio, also downloadable.

Posted: 12/1/2005 1:20:08 AM | I have shocked many fellow 'Christians' for even daring to mention that I have seen a bonafide (alien?) UFO, close, (less than 1 mile away) hovering above ground, for a period of close to 5 minutes...Then it flew away...
Years later, I dated a woman that I mentioned it to, and in comparing notes, times, dates, etc, she realised she saw the same one too.
Some hold to the ideal, that a 'christian' should not believe such things exist, well, I like Billy Graham, and even he says the possibility is there. | |

When Jesus spoke for example, of many things to look for when His return to earth would be near, "Signs in the Heavens..." was but one...
Some of course, interpret that as a little higher up in the skies, dealing with maybe some astronomical event or events, etc, but some think it does point to what we call "UFO's"...
Now of course, there is yet another school of thought, that speaks of said ufo's actually being demonic deceptions, to get people's attentions off God, and onto the UFO phenomena.
Either way, demonic or not, Jesus still did speak of seeing "Signs in the Heavens" more and more as His return gets closer...And, interestingly enough, the increase in UFO sightings world-wide has increased (excuse the expression) astronomically, over the past few years.
There is also the speculation, supported somewhat by scripture in part, that where the Bible speaks of the Holy Spirit being less and less evident also as Jesus's return nears, satan's power and influences will increase; Having said that, the speculation muses, that satan is using the UFO phenomena, to deceive, and also the abductions we hear so much about, are in fact some kind of demonic possesions...

I wouldn't be so quick to make a speculative and honest assessment something to be derided. There is nothing wrong with having an open mind; closed mindedness cannot achieve anything. This is the problem with religious debate, or any debate for that matter – it kills important issues.

Posted: 12/1/2005 11:05:06 AM | I havew witness a UFO (an alien one) with my ex-sister-in-law.. we were standing in her kitchen talking one whinter night when we saw a strange light above some houses not to far away...we watched the light and all of a sudden it started moving in strange formations that no plane or helicopter would have been able to duplicate.. and since it was slightly over cast that night I would hardly doubt that it was cause by an atmosheric anomoly...

He walked on water, but he didn't even have to walk, but he did. Jesus "left the building" so to speak. He sent a "Comforter" (the Holy Spirit) for us until His return. It was said in the bible, that he would return the same way he left... on the wing of a cloud... Clouds have wings? Can ships make smoke clouds upon takeoff? There are plenty and many supportive texts in the bible regarding UFO's even then. | |

The bible referred to aliens as the Sons of the Gods and they came down from the heavens and slept with the women of earth. THe cross breading made giants, not little green men. These giants were men who later became fameous becuase of their supernatural abilities. Look at the reason for the flood again, and you will see there was a Gene Pool problem. | |
