the other day, I went to the gym before class, and that was the last song on the radio
when I came back 2hrs later, it was the first song they played
its so stupid!
and not in the "fun stupid" kinda way

the song is....................a trend gone bad, very bad, i do like BEP i do not like that song
annoying to the very core of annoyance...then my 6 yr old started singing it...i washed her mouth with soap.....
i do not allow filth in my house.......ok just kidding about the soap....but i did give her a tongue lashing, i am sure she is most fearful to even think about that song

So bad, in fact, that I listened to it once more, just to be sure it really was that horrible. But, it has gotten LOTS of airplay on commercial radio around Atlanta. thank god for MP3 Players. | |

Posted: 1/6/2006 11:41:10 AM | I was at a bar one night the first time I heard Big And Rich's "Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy"... 20 minutes later, they played the song again. I was still shaking my head from hearing it the first time. All I could think was, 'This is what they are passing off as good country music these days? Aren't I in a rock bar? Huh?'. Well, a friend of mine made a comment that night that I personally believe describes 'My Humps' ten times more than "Save A Horse"...
This song makes babies want to shake themselves.
It's all about the degradation of ALL music genres though. Music is supposed to be an outlet for people, and a way to express themselves. If all this new music is how my generation chooses to express themselves, well, then I believe the future really is lost. *sigh*. With the exception of a few groups who do still try to appeal to a more intelligent fan base, I have lost all faith for the music industry. | |
