On the other hand, I have met the perfect man for me on this site. We fell in love with eachother before we could even stop it and apparently everyone knew it but us.   and we enjoy eachother. We got some pretty exciting news this past week and I can't wait!! Yes!! He is pregnant!!  Seriously we aren't pregnant... another joke but I guess I have to clarify that! | |

Do wish that there were more men in Florida (on POF) who liked to ride (motorcycles) and who lived a little closer to me. Otherwise, not complaining. I'm not expecting to meet "the one," but would be great if that happened. In the meantime, I'm just enjoying the contacts.

I am a girl of morals and personally Im lookin for a good guy who isnt just about gettin his. The 2 guys I met are sex freaks and Im not down for that.. Where does it say in my profile that I want or need sex?? I mean seriously... Guys if thats all you want then Im not the girl to be contacting. On the other hand the guy on the other site that I met is very sweet and we have been dating for a month now and Im actually VERY happy for once. One of the guys on here that I met is a player and I hate that. That tells me that the guy is insecure with himself.. And the other guy was just an ***hole. | |

Posted: 1/28/2006 9:20:20 PM | Most women I have met online are emotionally disturbed, substance abuse wacked-out Barbie Dolls, or otherwise emotionally wrecked from past "relationships"; looking for quick sex, a fast buck, free drinks or incapable of spelling/writing a declarative thought or sentence.
I could go on; cultural differences, insincerity, "players".....you know, the same complaints that you ladies have about men. There are few "sane/normal" woman on here in my age group (36-55).

Posted: 1/29/2006 6:40:59 AM | I think there are a few more sane women than you think, but, as I read the profiles and the posts by alot of women (not all), I find that they are reaching for the moon. To be honest, I'll be 57 very soon. Not the same body that I had 20-30 years ago. Not the same person I was 20-30 years ago. I seem to find the ones that live far away that have things in common with me. One thing is to enjoy life without worries about how much money the other makes or how much they own. In Jacksonville, honesty means nothing. Being a good person means nothing. Integrity is expected only for the other person. I'm waiting on the sane women to notice me or to join up on this web site. BTW, I have talked with a couple of women who do not live close to me, but, they seem to be really down to earth. I think that if the men and women who visit these sites stop reaching for the moon and look deeper into people and stop playing games, they'll find that there are many and I mean many nice people in this world.
I have to share this with you. I met a nice younger lady in another site. She does not live near me. I met her for dinner once. A really lovely person. Because of the age difference and distance, I kinda shuned her. Now, I really feel bad about not staying in touch more because she is a 1st cousin to the children killed this past week in that bus,car,truck crash in Lake Butler. I've been sending e-s to her with replys. Have offered everything I can to help. I'm really feeling down right now because she is a good person and I am helpless to help.
In reality, too many play games on dating sites. There are real people out there that need real love in their lives. If I can't find that special love, at least I can find a special friend or more than one special friend. | |
