Actually he never says that Bush had the Bin Laden's escorted out of the country, he says that they got preferential treatment from the Bush administration due to long-standing ties with the Bush family. Clarke, being a member of the Bush administration at the time, proves the point.

Guess you have to see the movie...

Moore does pull some interesting stunts sometimes... I remember his TV show "The Awful Truth" where he did a comparison between the U.S./Mexico border with the U.S./Canada border.

He took cameras down to the border with Mexico and filmed the guards, fences, dogs, guns, people wading across the desert and rivers to enter the country. Then he went to the Canadian border and found, essentially, no security at all (pre 9/11 of course).

So he gets a bunch of Canadians together and marches them across the border within view of a border station. No challenges. No problems. Nothing. So he goes "I know, they didn't look 'Canadian' enough..." So he dresses them up as hockey players and roller-blades them across the border...

Sometimes you have to go to ludicrous extremes to make a point...

What I don't get about this movie, is how they can declare it eligible for a "best picture" nomination...I thought it was a "documentary"...does this mean it isn't true?!

Im was raised in/near Michael Moore's home town of Flint michigan and have once meet him in person. I remember when he ran a small town newspaper called The Flint voice. Yes I am a fan.

I think everyone should see this movie. It amazes me how many get so heated and argumented that have not even seen it. To those that dont want to line Michael Moore's pockets, Download 911 from the file sharers! Michael Moore has publicly claimed he does not care who downloads his move and sites he has already made enough money off it.

For the ones that go on endlessly with points and links claiming Mr Moore is unamerican etc...... Have you seen the movie?

i utterly and totally despise michael moore. i reserve for him the same loathing that i reserve for roachs, rapists, and pedophiles. he hates america, taking every chance he possiblely can to slam and degrade america to opposing nations. at the same time as this goes onhe and his followers proclaim him to be a great patriot. patriot my ass.

What really makes me angry about this is so many want to lablel Mr. Moore caused they disagree. Watch the movie. He is about as unamerican shoping at Walmart! (CHINA!)

Millions understand his side.

Kerry needs to have Mr Moore advise him.

I have some questions for you. This will influence whether or not I answer you. I want you to answer them honestly.

Do you believe everything in this movie is true?

Do you believe Michael Moore has America in his best interest?

Do you believe Michael Moore?

For those of you who have seen micheal moore's new movie who think that it has any truth to it are just wrong.

Many of the people who he edited in his movie are now speaking out and fighting back against him. Iraqis he shows in the movie who are injured found out how they were portrayed in this movie are so pissed off. Yes they have been seriously injured from the liberation, they also are happy that saddam is gone and want the US to stay. So are the soldiers he used in the movie. They do not agree with what moore is saying and the way he edited the video it makes it look like these people are agreeing with his viewpoint. This movie is not a documentary it is a piece of propaganda. The only reason it is called a documentary is because he is using raw video that is supposedly not staged. I could edit enough video to make it look like everyone who lives in canada hates italian food and thinks the moon is made of cheese.

You guys have to stop believing in everything you see in a movie, on tv, or hear some blow hard saying.

I also will go on record that I think Mr. Moore DOES have America's best interest in mind. Thats why he points to things like political coruption in it. Thats why he tells people he has made enough money on the film and just wants people to see the movie.

I love America. But, if I see another nut-case get elected in this so called free country with less popular votes than his opponet I sure hope those that disagree dont try to deport my American born a** for voicing my opinion on the matter. I guess that I feel the Americans that imply Mr. Moore is unamerican for what he says should leave the country, for they are the ones that want to bury the first admendment. We have a right to these things, dispite the ones that want to gag the news messenger.

So, if you dont agree with M&M your unamerican, you can not have the interest of America at heart if you choose to glose over this stuff and chalk it up to a nut.

Yo Church, Wazzup!!

Ok let me get down to answering you.

It would be reckless of me to say I believe "everything" in this movie is true. A few things were new to me, like the Bush and Bin Laden family dealings. While they may or may not be true I cant vouch for those without seeking further education. I am more aligned with the message of his documentary - that much I will let you know. I have been to his website and he lists the facts stated in his movie and adds back up documentation - something you seem to encourage.

Yes, I am inclined to believe Michael Moore has his country at heart. The first time I saw Michael Moore was on a TV discussion panel on BBC and he was very impressive and definately pro American. He is certainly not a Bush fan, does not agree with the Patriot act and is opposed to the war in Iraq. In my opinion this is being mistaken for being anti- American and I think that is very unfair and that school of thought violates the principles of free speech, choice, thought and expression. In fact if Michael Moore did not have his country at heart (his community - Flint and the US soldiers and their families as well) he certainly would never have made that documentary. That comes across quite clearly in the movie.

I never give anyone a blanket belief envelope. Michael Moore presents his case in a very compelling way and in the debates that have followed his documentary he has exhibited a tendency and willingness to listen to the views of those who disagree with his movie. Unfortunately many (In fact all I listened to) who opposed it, argued from premises that were clearly a result of not having seen the documentary. That kind of attitude has denied this debate a lot of life and education and that is very unfortunate.

That is where I stand. I would like to hear your side irrespective of your beliefs and positions on Michael Moore and his work. In otherwords UNCONDITIONALLY. I wish you had accorded me the same respect.

Yea we all adore Cuba and communists. He does not hate America. In the movie one can see how much he loves the poor inner city teens that go to battle for this country. He also loves the parents that give up their kids in a war they dont understand nor approve of.

You know all those in the movie were aware of the film. The ones in Flint (were I was rasied) are normaly his bigiest fans. The ones in the amred services speaking their minds out against Bush AND the Iraw War gave their permission, as did the souider in Wash DC that told the camera he would let "nobody send me back over there"- these people risked their carrers and more they feelt so strongly about their opinions. Their names are cleary displayed within the movie. They were aware of what they were doing and saying.

Democracy... Mmmmm....

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands, One nation Under God indivisible with Liberty and justice for all.

...uphold the constitution...protect from all enemies foreign and domestic...

These are the great ideas that have made the US dominate global superpower under the stewardship of the Creator. Every American warrior takes these oaths at MEPS when he joins the military. This is how come Specialist Michael New's court case is now beginning final legal evaluation and will determine the future of the REPUBLIC and our relationship to TOP SECRET PDD 25 United Nations agreement calling for a one world government and military and disarmament of the American population. The US has already signed PDD 25, but it has not been implemented. Army General Knight stands against PDD 25 and for the REPUBLIC. I support New's and Knight's positions regarding the REPUBLIC and commend them for having the courage and abilities I lack.
The US is unique among nations in that we have a BILL OF RIGHTS to moderate the IRON HAND of the LAW and yet we have the trappings of Rome in that we have RULE OF LAW. Unlike the democracy of ancient Greek City States constantly waffling and knee jerking every time propaganda and hysteria sped through the voting population.

Hollywood Comedian Red Skelton left a message that does not sell anything for all of us. His MESSAGE is here: http://www.poofcat.com/july.html
