I was very quick to block. Just goes to show, you can make people think whatever you want when they are hiding behind a keyboard. Geeeeez....

Thanks for the comment, you know what I'm blonde and I likely fit the description of your dream girl except the age. AND the hair color I am entelligent, likely have as much going for me as many others, carry a good conversation, positive and likely as good in the bed-room as a brunette or a red-head lol
I have talked to several men as well and seen it on Dr. Phil, women who have posted pictures of their daughters, them selves when they were younger, only a face, Some of these are either desperate or dont want to meet some one or maybe just no self esteem. I went with a guy whose pic which was taken a few yrs ago and still posts the same pic. but as he got older I still think he was pretty OK.

| Fake Pictures Posted: 12/27/2006 5:33:56 PM | I recently got an email from this guy. He gave me "his pic" and he was cute. So we chatted for about a month. We even talked on the phone and all. We then were talking about meeting and he emailed me another pic and how he'd explain later. So I continued to talk to him and chat with him on the phone. Until the day he wrote to me that he really wasnt the 24 yr old cutie that he emailed me but a 43 yr old man, with a totally different name then what he originally told me. So not only had he lied about the pic, but his age and name. His excuse was, that he normally doesnt talk to alot of girls and then if they knew his real age the ones he does talk to him, won't. He asked if I would forgive him and start over. He said the reason he came clean with me is because he really started to like me and just thought I had the greatest personality and I was just so sweet and funny, so if I did meet him he didnt want me to walk out when "someone else" was meeting me. I told him, if a 43 yr old man feels he needs to lie about the simple things, then what is going to stop him from lying about the big things? Needless to say, I never spoke to him again.
I've come across alot of people that do not like you to put an age limitations on your profile. But it's my preference on the age range that I like. I try and explain that I have more in common with that range and they just don't want to hear it. I don't get it! OH WELL, there's Plenty Of fish on the net....LOL
Ya'll have a great one and God bless! BJo

| Fake Pictures Posted: 12/28/2006 4:43:06 PM | whiterain I dont know if you or others watch the Dr Phi show but he had a couple of women on who were corrresponding with a guy on the net, same guy, handsome dude, found out he was an older guy using a movie stars pic, and had a scam set up to rake in a lot of money from these women. Some sort of a lottery scan, dont know how many women fell for it but this one lady lost several thousand to this sweet talking man who claimed to be in love with her. She was head over heels in love with him as well. Any one I have met I have been fortunate to see a pic or the recent pic, because we usually comunicate for a while and exchange pictures. if there picture is a few years old they have given we a more recent one. I cant see any reason for fake pictures if one really wants a relationship. But then there are all kinds. | |

| Fake Pictures Posted: 12/30/2006 7:00:21 AM | Had a date with a fellow recently.... saw a pic of him...went to meet him.
Well... the pic was about 15 years old, and 70lbs lighter.
Never spoke with him or accepted a message from him again.
These people (men and women both) who post fake/old pictures need to get a clue. If you are posting such things..you are putting out a lie!! why would anyone want a second date with someone who has proven they will lie?

| Fake Pictures Posted: 3/1/2007 12:33:28 PM | Heh, If you put a celebritys pic up, without mentioning being a major fan of the celeb and without other pics that have you them, you are retarded.
Thou I do have a feeling that some men possibly put up fake female profiles, then add have those "women" add themselfs as Favorites so they can look popular. Those type of profiles would have "fake" pics... But again, it comes back to being a retard...

| Fake Pictures Posted: 3/1/2007 7:34:00 PM | | I've never had this happen. Everyone I've met has looked pretty much like their photo, except for one man who looked much, much, MUCH! better in real life (he didn't have a "fake" photo, it was a nice pic, he just looked ... better ... in the flesh.) I've also met one man who didn't have a photo posted, and he was very nice-looking, too. I'm surprised by these stories. What, exactly, is the point of posting a fake photo if you DO plan to meet? I get the trolls who are only having fake, online fun, but meeting? Too strange. | |
|
| Fake Pictures Posted: 3/2/2007 1:04:10 AM | | Why would anyone put up fake pics and then act like its them, something has to be wrong in there heads to do such a thing, you know. | |
|
| Fake Pictures Posted: 3/2/2007 5:24:02 AM | Why people post a fake pic is beyond me considering that possibly sooner or later u maybe meeting the person who see's it! Ya some people are shallow so what it happens put a real pic up and say " take me as i am or leave me how i was". Let people accept u for u before going any further in life! If they cant accept u there not worth ur time. | |

| Fake Pictures Posted: 3/2/2007 5:39:52 AM | The only thing worse than a fake pic is when it's a picture of you.. Some crazy b*tch took all my pics from the other site I go too she took off the sites tag put them all on a web page and claimed to be me I had to send AOL my drivers licenses that is now on record to prove they were pictures of me..sheesh
I don't care if someone want's to use fake picture as long as they are not a pic of...Me

I wouldn't feel too bad. Isn't imitation is the most sincere form of flattery?
|
| Fake Pictures Posted: 3/2/2007 12:29:52 PM | The person doing that obviously has something to hide. Like either being married or having a serious girlfriend. It happened to me on this site. I told the guy he was pathetic. Needless to say he is no longer on here. | |
|
| Fake Pictures Posted: 3/2/2007 7:50:09 PM | | The bottom line for me is that I don't have a lot of time to meet people, hence why I am on here. I don't need someone wasting my time for their personal amusement. If you are not happy with who you are, then go see a shrink. Otherwise, post your damn picture. | |

| Fake Pictures Posted: 3/2/2007 8:45:02 PM | beautiful: last fall, i met about 15-20 men from another site. most photos were real, but veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy flattering. most were recent (within a couple of years), but about 50-75% were no where near as cute as their pics (probably closer to 75%, but I'm nice). the same is true of the women online.
in my personal case, of all the men i met, i had a crush on only one guy. he looked like about a 9 in his his pics, but was more like a 7-7.5 in real time (i go for 7+ if they have enough on the ball). he had enough going for him in other respects that i developed a crush on him.
all tangents aside; and to answer your question specifically, i truly believe people who post blatantly fake photos figure one meeting is better than not ever get to meet in real time. they have nothing to lose.
