but then Wikopedia has this to add:
The nougat found in many modern candy bars is not very similar to traditional nougat recipes, being a mixture of sucrose and corn syrup aerated with a whipping agent such as egg albumen or hydrolyzed soya protein. It may also have vegetable fats, milk powder and nuts added.

You join online caramel site, and put up a profile describing how wonderful your Caramilk bar is, documenting your case with five year old pictures. Then for the next two years, they send out thousands of desperate e-mails to eligible caramel suppliers, begging them to fill your Caramilk bar for you, getting next to no response. Meanwhile, you go on the caramel forums, where one moment you sulk about how incomplete your Caramilk bar is without the caramel, and the next moment you complain about the caramel suppliers, who just don't appreciate a nice Caramilk bar, like yours.
This ^ deserves another read lol.

They were trained by CSIS for special ops involving eastern European carrot intelligence gathering at the tail end of the cold war. They got together after the wall came down and took their training into the retail sector and alas the Caramilk was born.
If you don't hear from me again after this post tell them the bunnies must have got him......
