Hmmmm 70 - 74. I was a long hair, in jeans with suede patches. Peace symbol on a leather cord around my neck. Class clown that did plenty detention time. Supplied the school drug dealer with cash, he smoked his money away on the weekends. I'd lend him $100 on Monday and get $200 back on Thursday, hell of a deal. Dated the gal known as "Flatsy Patsy" wonder if she ever got tlts. Played on the hockey team, bye bye two front teeth. April Wine was still a bar/school dance band back then, they played my Grad dance. Ahhh, wonderful days!!

ah, HS.

I was the typical NJ guidette. my hair was huge (naturally, though...never needed to tease it) and down to my ass. I wore anything trendy. Remember Cavarrici's? Yep, I had them. I wore my thick socks outside my jeans, with my Reebok high tops, or, a very short skirt with those same socks and sneakers. Does anyone remember wearing ankle socks with high heels? Yep! that was me too! And, I can't even begin to describe the loads of blue eyeshadow that I wore. OMG! I look at my pictures and wonder what I was thinking! I guess that's why I refuse to wear any makeup now.

I pray the 80's never come back!

I listened to freestyle music, and everyone thought I was crazy. But, i've always had a passion for dancing, and that was dancing music.

Cheerleader, all through HS (still have my varsity pompoms!) But, my parents were so strict that I was the only cheerleader who never went to a party, or tailgaiting. That part stunk.

Started smoking cigarettes freshman year in HS, but never drank or did funny stuff until after graduation. (heck, I never even had sex until after HS! what was i thinking?) Drove a Monte Carlo my senior year. Was friends with all types. Everyone knew me. But, I never dated anyone from my school (mainly because I wasn't allowed to date yet)

Teachers who never had my older sister as a student loved me. Those who had her, well...'nough said.

the funny thing is...if i could go back and do it all over again. I WOULD! it would be so nice to have another 4 years of life where my biggest concern was what to wear to school the next day, or passing a test that counted for .025% of your final grade.

long hair, jeans, sport shirt, and shoes (instead of sneakers???)... I played some sports, but didn't hang out w/jocks. Pretty much got along w/everyone. It was a disco high school, so I stood out a little (a lot!!!).

I was invisible. Or at least I felt that way. Small group of friends. My biggest hits were in my senior year. Boy, did I get into my share of trouble. 1986. Now that I think about it alcohol seemed to be my trouble. Not that I drank more times than I can count on one hand, but when I did, I DID! I guess it was my means of shedding my shell.

What I remember? The end of disco, big hair ladies, an all white MTV (except for Michael Jackson, he was still black back them). I enjoy looking back at it now more than living it then.

Total punk rock girl.
I went to a Catholic school with a uniform.
Quite difficult to express yourself within those limitations.
I did my best though.
I listened to bands like G.B.H., The Exploited, Sex Pistols, The Cure, Black Flag, The Damned, The Church, Ramones, etc.
Went to any gig I could attend to see the local bands.
I loved every minute of it.
Slam dancing is the original form of moshing....remember that boys and girls. ;)

I started out with the preppy look, then came the cheerleaders years. OMG and the light blue (with a hint of pink in it) eye shadow my best friend and I thought was so cool. I look back at my year book photos and say "did I really do that?" I do remember those years fondly though. Loved Pat Benatar, The Cars, J Giles, The Go Gos etc.

Geek crossed with the girl next door, I guess. I don't know. I had plenty of friends, but definitely wasn't part of the "A-list" crowd.

i didn't really fit in at all. i was the nerdy looking "plain jane" girl with braces, glasses and short frizzy hair, who hung around the art room and library a lot. boys never gave me a second glance, and i was withdrawn, a bit defensive, and insecure. no fond memories of those awkward years.

i came into my own only in my late 20's. grew my hair long, got over my insecurities (or at least didn't let them hold me back anymore), moved my wardrobe in a goth-inspired and somewhat vixen-ish direction, and fully embraced life! i still don't fit into an identifiable clique, but this works well for me as i can cross-over and mingle well with a much more diverse range of people.

I was SO an outsider, not in any clique at all. I was an Eagle Scout, I wore a beard & flannels & jeans & boots in my upscale town, I got along with authority figures, I worked and was baffled by those families who gave graduating seniors a CAR for Gods sake !!

Iwas ready to go to college by soph-jr summer where I hoped life would be more real. Mostly it was, but I did have a suite mate who actually went on a panty raid. (sigh)

I was the textbook reclusive artist type.
I moved around and went to 4 highschools.
It wasn't until my last highschool that I started to become popular and joined the Improv Club.
Fun times.
I still have a little bit of both the Improv club guy and reclusive artist guy within me.
Sometimes they duke it out atop a moonlit plateau to some wicked musical scores.
