Posted: 11/3/2005 12:23:48 PM | Missbad, Helan and anyone else ........... I just wanted to suggest a couple of things that have really helped me to cope with my past experiances.
Write letters to the people that hurt you, you don't need to send the letters, writing them is the important thing. The letters can say everything you want/need to say to that person, somehow the sheer act of writing and expressing your anger and pain really helps............. I wrote quite a few letters to the people that had abused me, never sent any of them, I burnt them! For me it was a very cleansing thing.
The other thing, and by far the most important, is to forgive yourself, it was NOT YOUR FAULT. We all blame ourselves in some way for the terrible things that happen to us, there is always that thought that we should have done something to avoid the situation or not allowed it to happen in the first place.

girl there is now a new law that has come to state which enforces law against the guilty party, it could have been years ago it could of been decades ago it could aslo been hours or minutes ago!!!
if u still want this person punished the thing you need to do is go se a doctor confide with themtell them the truth, just explain to them ur having sleepless nights nightmares, really play on this, then u have a record of somewhat to go against the defendant!!!!
after doing so u need to make a formal complaint to ur local police!!
dont worry if u dont want to speak with an officer we have people who specialise in this field!!
they will then start u on a progect called STAR which is a charity for victims of rape, these people have worked wonders for people who have been the victim of crime!!
also if u need to speak with somebody, confidentially why not give crimestoppers a call oon 0 8 0 0 5 5 5 1 1 1.
all the best for the future in finding justice, not only you got to think about yourself in this situation but think of all the other people he may put through the same toture, i wonder how many of them will make a complaint too!!
