Posted: 12/3/2006 8:18:19 PM | The popular answer so far (13 pages worth) is that women do not like submissive men. However, I wonder if they're thinking of men who prefer a dominant woman on a regular basis or if they're really against a guy who enjoys the submissive role once in awhile.
Personally, I am a dominant man in every facet of my life. Sometimes, too much so. In my personal life, it's no exception. I prefer to take on this "man's role" that women are speaking of in this thread. However, what is so wrong with once in awhile letting the roles reverse??? They're still the same guy that rocks you any other time. If you like it rough....if you like to be spanked or have your hair pulled or whatever, why can't he enjoy it as well.
I agree that it's not something that a vast majority of men would be into all the time and I can see why most women wouldn't like it that way. However, I think the best sexual relationships are the kind where both people are accepted for the desires they possess and their partners try their best to fulfill them.
Maybe I'm just weird.

Yes I like a guy to be in control of the situation ...maybe even a litlle aggressive sometimes, but sometimes...I like to be the aggressor.
I dated a guy once that totally REFUSED to play the whole submissive role...kinda sucked.
A good mix of it all is just a good all around sexual relationship...woo hoo! | |

Posted: 12/6/2006 5:20:42 AM | most women do not like submissive men at all i guess.the women who are open to this in my opinion have the least amount of sexual hangups.its my opinion these women are the type i'm looking for because i can be totally open and honest with them from the start.i would probally let a woman (either my girlfriend,wife or friend) dress me up for halloween as a woman or in some other female role.i would also do it as a fetish thing to spice the sex up more. the closed minds that exist even today is a real bummer to me.

Posted: 3/31/2007 8:20:23 PM | First of all, I have to ask just what "submissive" means to any woman answering this question ...besides question the previous male's reason for having what appears to be a feminine form photo w/ his profile. 'He' raises a good point ...I think, for not knocking what's not been tried before.
Being the 'slow-bloomer' earlier in life, I learned to less than assertive to start, and I still tend to approach a woman who interests me like this, even if I'm totally confident to perform as she may want and need sexually. I'm the quiet type? Not exactly, but then I am not so outspoken or as aggressive as many women who prefer to remain submissive might see in me, based on what they learned earlier on in life for 'being hit on'.
Somewhere in their life since ...and hopefully their successfully having transcended their once frustrations their being too submissive, I prefer a woman to actually speak up and tell me as their LTR potential partner what it is that they need ...and more specifically than throw me around the bedroom and make me feel like the naughty girl. | |

A woman was supposedly being admitted into a hospital, and asked if she was "sexually active" ...to which she she replied, "No, I just sort of lays there." Again, I ask the question, just what do you mean or interpret "submissive" to be? I don't believe that I am alone ...as a man, to be w/ a woman who is at least in control of herself and her sexuality to 'tell it like it is' for how she needs her release. If submissive means my taking whatever sh*t that she's able to 'dish out', than I'm not. If your idea for being "sexully active" is just laying there w/o saying a word or making a sound ...for fear of what the kids already have a clue for guessing to be going on, than no thank you as well. If submissive means my being willing to meet somewhere between these extreme definitions and meanings within, then we might be talking, even if I still will not do IM or just chat.
How's that for my not being submissive to what is usually a totally waste of time ...beyond making a post here? | |

One "What do you want me to do Madam" too many and i could see myself telling him to stick a soup ladle up his bum and do the hokey cokey, just to see if he would do it.
