I've always thought they (submissive men) were more 'manly' - you should pardon the expression - because they rarely waste time doing that silly posturing most men do. Fortunately, there are women who like both he-men and real men.

I am impressed! 5 out of 8 posts on this page were from ladies that are at least open minded if not into having a submissive man. One post from a man that at least acknowledged that some women are into it. He is not and that is fine. But he did not condemn us that are. And yes, I agree, some women may be into it for just bedroom play, but want her man to be less submissive out of the bedroom; Or in fact take charge.
It proves that there are all shades of all colors in the rainbow. We can't pigeon-hole all woman as to either like or dis-like her man to be submissive. There are various degrees of submission as well as when it is appropriate to act upon that need or desire and when to put it back in the closet, so to speak. To some, it is a 24/7 lifestyle. To others it is just a bedroom game. Whatever works for that couple is right for them.
In my own experience, no one would ever guess that I was submissive to the Dominant lady I was with. It is not something put on display for all to see. It is private and personal. Yet, in my heart and mind, as well as hers, we know the roles we have with each other. | |

Now if it sounds like something I don't even want to try that is different. eg.. crack, cocain, or any drug. But with sex that no one gets hurt, who knows it might cause a thrill I have never experenced before. That would be the most interesting reason to try it. A thrill you have never had before.

Anyone watch those "wife swap" shows where the submissive white men were married to dominant black women? You could tell the women did not really respect the men, and frankly the were both very bossy and one was worthless lazy. Dom female Sub male relationships don't usually work unless at least one is dysfunctional.
Open minded isn't everything. Submissive men are run over by women. Period. The do not have true respect from their women. Sure, many women here said they wouldn't mind trying it, but trust me, the man who likes HIS bottom spanked isn't going to get the girl at the end of the movie. The relationship, I would assume, would be more honest. The man is far more likely to hold what the couple have tenderly and sacred. | |

it does pretty much have nothing to do with whats outside the bedroom, at least in the general sense. Mind you there are those "gig"wife little husband relationships,...maybe I am wrong,... but I just can't see a man of 130 lbs being the alpha with a woman of 300lbs. Hence the earlier comment of being rolled over,... the entendre not intended but works.
As to just what it all means is also up for interpretation.
