...Awhile back, I read a short story in Reader's Digest about women and menopause. The title was something like "Gentlemen, Start Your Engines." ... While menopause is a bit premature at 30, by the mid 30's, it is typically beginning in most women. As the story or the facts go (and my background is in embryology), a woman's estrogen and progesterone levels drop a bit with each passing year. The levels of the sex drive hormone testosterone are still the same as before, but then becomes more dominant and thus, a higher sex drive evolves.
...In full menopause, whether created by a hysterectomy or age, all of the prior posts from women are in consideration; while adding lack of inhibitions ... they are no longer concerned with becoming pregnant.
...Sadly gentlemen (and for women), this is about the same time that men will typically go through their own form of menopause. Their testosterone levels drop, where existing levels of estrogen become more dominant; their sex drive also drops. Add restrictive capillary flow from poor living choices and you will welcome that little blue pill. Thus, all the more reason to get your butts out there and stay in shape for all those horny women that have yet to evolve with forthcoming menopause. We've come to realize that we can't really change what we look like and have accepted that.
We also realize that we're getting older and if we don't enjoy sex as much as possible now we may not get another chance!! | |

Babe we' don't have to deal with the insecurities of youth and sure it's the hormones too - but I think I'm more confident than I ever was before I know that if there's a man I want I can have him - before I never felt that way.........and I'm almost 52........and I still get the 30 - 32 year olds.......some even wanting more than sex believe it or not which are really the most flattering ones! | |
