I do have one reservation... and maybe it's silly, but... I would prefer that my partners toy be as toy-like as possible. There are models available that are supposed to look and feel like "the real thing." Part of my prohibition against this, is that I wouldn't be at all shy about my partner touching me with a vibrator during sex play, but it has to look like a toy, not a penis. I'm sure it's different for different women, but for me, I used it on my own a few times when I first bought it, but found the orgasms were much less pleasurable than from old-fashioned masturbation. Too fast and kind of stupid, to be honest.
Also, I found that after using it, it started to take me longer to climax naturally. When I went back to my preferred methods (manual masturbation or real sex with a real man), I soon returned to getting the ultimate pleasure from less - what's the word? intense? - stimulation.
There's something I've noticed quite often on these threads. Some women say that "casual, meaningless" sex (usually defined as sex without LUUUUVVVV) leaves them feeling hollow and empty, yet they ALSO say they "have" their BOB for sexual satisfaction. That's mind-boggling, to me. Masturbation with a dildo is more satisfying than casual sex with a flesh and blood human who's giving and getting pleasure?
