1. body shape and size 2. hairstyle 3. clothes
then as i get up to them....
4. face, then eyes, lips, TEETH (very important to me), nose and shape of face 5. details such as fingernails, makeup (too much, too little), overall cleanliness 6. i then make an overall impression mentally but subconsciously

With the exception of super-models, 99% of the population have a few really nice features and everything else is fairly average (when singled out). Some people seem to have really average facial features but when seen, they just have an aura about them that makes it all far more beautiful than it really is. Their attitude seems to take their physical form to a higher level.

| When Meeting someone what is the first thing you look notice? Posted: 9/29/2008 9:48:57 PM | ~OP I think TOMIC - about covers all basis here on this topic .
..........
Here's my take on this - It's all in the eyes , they tend to tell the real story and also if someone has eye contact with me - Looks at me when I'm talking to them that tells me much much more.
Then comes that shinning smile :) heck it does it everytime- Just melts my heart makes me all the more attracted to them.
Next is how they take care of them selves and there personal apperance is extremly important to me such as hands , finger nails.
I also think communication is key , and also the chemistry meaning, that certain attendtion look as well as the body chemistry- thats important to have with someone. Love someone that can carry a good intelligent conservation , keep my interest.
Findly I look at personality and inside and try and see them for the them not base it on looks alone but on everything. Last but least there humor and if they are able to laugh and also have a serious side too!
But the eyes says it best does tell the real story - How can one go wrong by the mirrors of ones soul hmmm ?
I try and notice and pay attention to it all plain and simple
Peace & Love All !

Those are just a few of the first things I notice. After talking to him, I build more in depth opinions.

In my club/bar hopping days, I was attracted to the girl in the group wearing the shorts or short skirt even if she wasn't the best looking.
That was for starters of course. Lately it seems like I'm finding the "buried treasure" - the one that everyone overlooks for one reason or another.

| When Meeting someone what is the first thing you look notice? Posted: 10/12/2008 6:10:53 PM | honestly, i check out the guys clothes. if a guy doesn't have a sense of style i am not attracted to them. i am an artistic person and design is important to me. i am not saying that the guy has to wear designer duds by any means, i am just saying he needs to have his own sense of style. having a bad hair cut, outdated jeans, a ratty tshirt usually with some beer or sports insignia on it, with the shirt tucked in and a belt pulling the jeans way up high around the waist... yeah that's a big turn off.... and wearing tennis shoes with denim shorts and socks... oh god! what a turn off...

| When Meeting someone what is the first thing you look notice? Posted: 10/13/2008 9:18:50 PM | I notice them for their:-
* height * hair style * smile * eyes * nose
what they look like with facial expressions and what they look like when listening to me. I pick up on all of that body language. And being a respectful guy that I am, I don't look down the way at their body checking them out etc, why? because that isn't why I would get with them, only an idiot would argue with that one.

How they carry themselves. Are they articulate? Can they carry a conversation? Do they speak intelligently? I mean you dont have to have a Ph.D , in philosophy, but c'mon! Attempt to put a Few words together!

I'd much rather see that smile than an "oh s&%t" look! I have a thing about teeth too. They don't have to be the whitest ever, or perfectly straight, but it is really important that they be in good shape-- to me anyways. I guess it's because I'm obsessive about mine. My parents spent alot of money getting mine straight!
