| How safe is it to really pierce your eyerbrow or anything else on your body? Posted: 11/7/2005 8:48:38 PM | All i can say is that make sure you go to someone witha good reputation. and is health board approved
if you need help finding a piercer in your area.. go to www.safepiercing.org they have a list of accredited piercers and all the info you will need
I got my tongue done almost a month ago.. never had any problems and minimal swelling. Just make sure you follow the instructions they give you for aftercare and you shouldn't have any problems.

I like to think I know a thing or 2 about piercing... i mean, look at me! To asnwer your question, it is perfectly safe to pierce ANYTHING on your body so long as it's done by a professional, someone with years of experience that knows how to do it properly and safely. As long as the shop you're going to has a decent reputation you should be fine. Happy Piercing! IaN.

Posted: 11/8/2005 12:26:27 PM | Tattoos and peircings of any type, shape or size, are all for the most part safe, if you take care of them. Basiclly the olny posible things that could possibly go wrong are these... Peircings: -Infection... But if you remember to clean it, it will be fine. But if an infection accurs, take it out. Or go back to where you got it done, and ask what you should do. -Hit a nerve... Depending on where you get it, you could suffer from all sorts of things. Although, I belive that your eyebrow is a very safe place. If you were to do your thounge, the artist could posibbly hit a nerve or vain, leaving half or all of your face paralized. So, make sure to do your resurch before jumping into something. Oh, and if they do it wrong... sue. You WILL win. Tehehe. -Croocked... They could peirce it croocked... But if you are wise, and keep looking for a REALLY good artist, then you really dont have to worry about it.
Tattoos: -Allergy... I thought to tell you this one first because its hardly common knowledge. Yes you can suffer an allergy to the ink. But not all the colors. Mainly its just red, or less commonly blue, which is what I am allergic to. There is only one way to find out, and that is to get inked. But not to worry, its not faital. Basiclly all that will happen is it will scab really bad. Most cases, your artist will just suggest another color, because by time the scab is off, the tattoo will look REALLY bad. -Badlly done... You wont have to worry about this though if you get a good artist. If you live in the Portland area, I suggest Q Ball at Graveyard Tattoos. He is a GREAT artist! I get all mine by him.
So, just remember to wait it out, and find the best, and cleanest artist you can. If the place looks kinda shabby, and unclean.. DO NOT DO IT THERE! You may regret it. Anyways... Thats basiclly it. Happy peircing!

Posted: 11/8/2005 6:03:13 PM | Yea..I guess thats why I am waiting this long to do it is to do my careful research, and I guess its the money factor too, I have a friend who her cusin has her eyebrow peirced and she said it cost her $80.... I mean when I can afford it I will defiently do it. But I just like to have more input from people who been through it already. Again thank you for the advice guys, I think I feel more comfortable about it.
