| What are your deal breakers Posted: 12/3/2005 5:45:52 AM | Male promises to attend church with me then doesn't. He talks bad about religion and what I believe in. Yet, he wants me to go along in what he believes in. But, in the beginning he agreed to everything I said and what I believed in. Just so he could move in with you. Then the real him comes out. Anthony Perkins in the movie "Pscho" For reals. | |

| What are your deal breakers Posted: 12/3/2005 6:41:16 AM | hmmmm hate the whole "deal breakers" thing just cuz an ex used to use it. We got in a relationship we didn't make a deal!
So using the term "deal breaker" Bumming money off of me on a first date (yeah that's attractive) Sending confusing signals Planning our life together after 3 emails Being untruthful about anything Making racial or other comments that show their total lack of awareness and ignorance

| What are your deal breakers Posted: 12/3/2005 8:19:27 AM | Gf asks if she can bring a few things over...I'm thinking toothbrush, change of clothes, things like that....Not 3 rolling suitcases and a flat out statement....."I think we'll just fast track this relationship. Oh, btw, we can't live here too long, I don't like the neighbourhood, so we'll sell your house and get one in a more trendy part of the city."
That pretty much broke any deal we hadn't yet made.
|
| What are your deal breakers Posted: 12/3/2005 11:13:23 AM | | Bad manners. I know, that's pretty broad, but some things you just don't do. Like, say, belching on command. | |
|
| What are your deal breakers Posted: 12/3/2005 11:14:49 AM | Oh, and a lack of maturity. Do you really think I want you to interject with giggles and obscene jokes when I try to talk about my day?
And poor hygene, but that's a given.
|
| What are your deal breakers Posted: 12/3/2005 11:28:08 AM | I'm not too picky but there are a few:
ONLINE:
Small "i"s, any kind of chat slang because half the time I don't get it. Any message that says "Wow, you're sexy for your age". Move on please! Any kind of sexual inuendo on the first communication! No Thanks. Any description of your private parts and what you'd like to do with them! Yuck
In Person: Huge bushy beards or comb overs, just not my thing. Teeth that look like they haven't seen a brush in weeks! ICK Denim coveralls for a dinner date! PLEASE Grabbing my a** as we walk into a restaurant for the first time! Really sets the tone NOT Asking intimate, sexual questions before I have even ordered my meal. Makes me feel like I'm interviewing for a job as a prostitute.

| What are your deal breakers Posted: 12/20/2005 8:38:39 PM | In meat reality (real world as some call it) : Deal breakers are : Too busy chicks , if I have to hunt my girl down she aint my girl. Emotionatly distant. uneffectionate Breaking dates at the last minute . more than 3 (young) kids BAD KIDS!!!!! the kind that yell, scream and break things and havent learned manners fitting their age. Cheating. Red flags are:
Too many people know her , no matter where you go you run into people that know her . Too many guy friends , not a deal breaker but it is a redflag . Kids all have different fathers . Does not like PDA's , could mean she does not want people to know you are together .
Online Deal breakers: looking for shorterm looking for friends looking for hangout buddies looking for genorous man <---= Gold digger alert !!!!! looking for Financially stable <-----= Gold digger alert. looking for penpals looking for intimite incounter <----= 15 years ago I never thought this would be a deal breaker. looking for Friends first <----= Friend zone alert , run while you can .
Online redflags:
Glamour shots photo motley crue t-shirt and winged hair in the photo when the ad says recently divorced <-----= rebound alert !!!!!!! when ad says willing to relocate <------== Town whore alert !!!!!!

No back bone: They never care about an issue unless it has already directly effected them or even if it has they're too gutless to do anything about it.

| What are your deal breakers Posted: 1/10/2006 7:16:49 PM | | I'm all over this thread. There's really one major deal breaker for me. Negative people. I know that I'm a joy to be around. I see the positive side of everything. My sister is dying in the hospital and I even see the positive side to that. I'm so tired of lifting people up and can't stand people who want to bring me down. Life is too short to have miserable attitudes. | |

| What are your deal breakers Posted: 1/10/2006 10:10:13 PM | Having a giant list of deal breakers for sure would break any pending deal not that a date is a deal or a game that's lame
Biggest deal breaker on my continuing to converse with anyone anywhere is bigotry which is a sign of hatred and borders on evil.
anything else relates to the actual situation, time and place.
