We admire Firefighters for what they do every day. But we hate cops for what they do....
Where is the love for cops ????
In the Donut Shopps across America is where they hang out .....Most of them are into activities as cheaters, liars and drunks....And they are all just a bunch of ticket pushers for the Counties and Cities.....

Remember this.........
September 11 (2001)
On a morning of clear blue sky,
on two mighty towers high,
many people on the street
like each day it was so sweet.
Then an airplane came in sight,
and then struck one tower with all its might.
Oh, the anguish and the pain,
of all those in the tower and plane.
People are running to and from,
not knowing just where to go.
People jumped from the tower high,
knowing they would surely die.
Then some minutes passed and then,
there came another plane again.
It struck tower number two,
just as it was instructed to.
People tried to get away,
and forget about this nightmare day.
As the building burned and the towers fell,
it must have felt like burning in hell.
The towers crashed to the ground,
leaving piles of bodies, like a burial mound.
Many police and firemen too,
lost their lives to save a few.
Many were buried alive that day.
Oh, the tragedy to die that way.
Then miles away, in another state and city,
a plane crashed through the pentagon, oh, what a pity.
Thousands upon thousands died this day.
It was Arab terrorists they say.
They hijacked four planes, and flew in the sky,
to crash into buildings, so American’s would die.
Oh, the mourning and the sorrow,
many feared there would be no tomorrow.
Many lives this day was lost.
Too many to even count the cost.
People are running in the street,
to get away from the smoke and heat.
Ashes fell to the ground,
as thick as snow, without a sound.
It brought us New Yorker’s closer that day.
We donated blood and started to pray.
The country shut down, and we all took a part,
and gave the survivors our love and our heart!
God bless New York City and the United States of America, and “We will Never Forget”

My brother and sister are also cops. Because of this, I have an immense amount of respect for law enforcement. Yeah, some of them can be jerks, but they still deserve to be respected for what they do. | |

Posted: 8/31/2009 10:51:12 PM | Police do not get the respect because they are so often seen abusing citizens, getting caught in drug scandals, etc. Also, when is the last time a fire-fighter was an ass to you? I can't remember one being an ass to me. They don't have an "Us vs. You" mentality like a lot of cops do. Lots of reasons that cops aren't more popular, and a lot of them are well-founded.
I have known a few girls who dated cops here. It did not end nicely. I also have a friend who graduated from the police academy here. He promptly moved because of the inner-deparment "problems" and corruption he saw. Graduated and moved the next week as I recall.
Also understand that my town is not the greatest imho. Small military town with a bunch of casinos. Epic fail. | |

A cop that I randomly meet (Even when I am speeding) gets the same respect anyone else gets. Until they come off as an ***hole by lecturing me, baggering me, or just being a jerk. Whcih a lot of them do. They are the same as young soldiers. Young, dumb, full of cum...and eager to make a name for themselves. Usually it wears off.
Everyone deserves intial respect, it's up to them to keep it or give it away. | |

Posted: 11/3/2009 9:49:52 AM | | As a former firefighter myself, all I have to say is respect. A firefighter risks his life to run into a burning building to pull someone out he's never met. He doesn't get an award or medal, bc that's his job. A police officer puts his life on the line with every call he answers and every ticket he writes. He'll stand between you and a man with a gun so you can get away bc that's his job. No awards or medals given. If you want to know the true measure of these men recall 9/11, everytime a girl goes missing on the news and when major events come along. Those guys even go out on they're day off as volunteers to help out. So next time you see a firefighter or police officer, thank them and address them appropriately as officer or firefighter. | |

Everyone hates cops...until they need one.
Indeed. They do a pretty good job of filling out paperwork, but I still think I could manage to snap a few pictures and fill out my own claims with the insurance company. That really is the only usage I have had or can forsee having for a law officer is traffic-related or to file some sort of grievance. | |

I could get graphic with the intended nature of emergency services but some would never get it anyway. Just thinking aloud again.... lol | |
