| Flames post season tradition: the passing of the putter Posted: 7/7/2008 11:28:05 PM | Ah, Bertuzzi can't bully anyone. He might have one game a year...errr....sorry, one period a year where he actually shows up. Since I live in Vancouver, I have had the great misfortune of watching that floater barely go through the motions - a pattern he has repeated in every team that was dumb enough to sign him. He was liability on the ice 90% of the time and a cancer in the dressing room. I don't need to mention that even when he's not trying to murder people, he has a penchant for taking dumb penalties. You are right about Sutter though...he is hoping that Bert regains his psychotic edge so he can fit right in with Flames hockey.
In Sutter, we bust. | |

likes them tough, mean green fightin' machines
Which never works (as we've all witnessed) You're forgetting the Broad Street Bullies (flyers) from 73-74 and 74-75. I kinda even enjoyed it, or at least got a good chuckle, when the russians left the ice because of "goon tactics" in the first period and didn't wanna come back to finish the game. They finally did, and lost, once they were told if they didn't finish the game they wouldn't get paid | |

| Flames post season tradition: the passing of the putter Posted: 7/8/2008 4:34:29 PM | | I guess the Flames don't want to win. The Ducks signed Bertuzzi to a one year deal with all the same hopes for him as the Flames have now...but, he is a year older in a league filled with young talent. It's starting to sound like Toronto here... gunna have a parade and all... | |

| Flames post season tradition: the passing of the putter Posted: 7/8/2008 5:10:58 PM | The Ducks actually inked him two a two-year deal, but decided to buy out the last year of his contract. I think they still owe him $2.67 million over the next two seasons. Hmmm...what does that say about Bertuzzi? | |

| Flames post season tradition: the passing of the putter Posted: 9/4/2008 8:51:35 PM | I do not like him and I have mixed feelings about him being a Flame. But, I am willing to do the "wait and see" attitude......Our office just received our season tickets and I cant wait to go to the game of my choice this season and many more..... | |

| Flames post season tradition: the passing of the putter Posted: 9/4/2008 10:38:28 PM | There is so much truth in Tick Tock's post I had to quote it:
