Posted: 10/2/2009 6:07:09 AM | That was a bit of a nail biter!! Lead by four at the end of the first, then struggle to maintain the win, the third period was their sloppiest, but they did win!
Some of the younger players were really into the game, I think they will develop into some good players and create the needed scoring chances to get this team past round one in the spring!

Now here's hoping "The Bulin Wall" can do the same for us.........say maybe this saturday...?? | |

Posted: 10/2/2009 3:11:03 PM | If you read the paper and what they are saying up here is that the Flames are being picked to finish first mainly because of Vancouvers road schedule due to the Olympics.
Guess we will have to wait and see !!  (got the ammo ready for you northerners on Saturday night!!
Missing Val's input already!! She would have had a couple of pages of entries by now, 2nd day of the regular season

Posted: 10/13/2009 6:10:36 AM | But, but, but it was Thanksgiving, and there was this BIG bird that needed to be attended to, several times, and then with the nap after, forgot about there even being a game, especially since it was only on PPV!!
We did get one point out of the tilt in the windy city, that's what it was, the Hawks passed too much wind and the Flames were passing out mentally!!!
